Next level synthesizer

I paused before clicking 'confirm' as this is the most I have ever spent on a music instrument. I grew up desiring these fine instruments and wondered would I really truly notice a difference in the overall quality and standard? Well, yes I did. The Prophet 10 sits alongside some of my other synths such as a Jupter 4, Juno 106 and an OB6. It glues effortlessly between them. Downside? Well I start playing it and lose track of time when I have intentions to write or record new tracks. Some reviews criticise the mono output however I have had no concerns with this. In fact it sits well when an effects device like a Strymon Big Sky is added to widen the soundstage. Wow.

No nonsens - Great synth

I am not going into depth reviewing this synth however I can say this much:

I like analog synths so this one has been on my list for years and I was not disappointed when I received the Prophet 10. Its a straight forward good sounding analog polysynth with its well known prophet sounds. If you want a real prober synth this one is the one to go for. The only thing I noted is that its got only mono output. Its no big deal however its something sequential should implement me thinks. Also it dosnt have effects but thats a plus to me. No nonsens, just a great synth. Instead find the effects externally you like and add them to this great sounding synth. Its easy these days to find good reverbs, echo´s etc etc.

Better than the originals

This one still has the same magic as my original but more features and more voices. Easily one the most musical synths out there. Every patch brings a new idea. A classic reborn and improved.

I love it

Great synth overall, it is definitely worth buying. Limited features is sometimes just the thing you need to make music. The tuning can be a hassle, but I hear it will be better with time when you have tuned it to different temperatures.

I love it and it loves me back <3
