So I was on the market for some wireless microphome systems for general, all around purposes (singing, speeches, presenters/announcers etc). I have to admit that I am a big fan of the AKG sound and that would have been my first choice, but for some reason, the AKG mics haven't really caught on in my country so in the name of rider friendliness, it was going to be Shure. But, for the money, you get quite a lot. The system is pretty straightfoward: you get a receiver, a power adapter for it, the mic/transmitter and a mic clamb. This system is on another level to anything I've used, especially if we are talking about wireless. The sound quality is beautiful and warm, when I first used it at a gig the rest of the band couldn't believe how professional it sounded. Im in a wedding band and to be honest some might say why spend this much if its only a cover band but believe me this is what separates you from the rest. The only issue I've had to date is it was squealing at some gigs and we didn't know why, but the guy in the band updated the mic online and then it was back to its best and no problems since. this is the best you'll get at this price range the next step up your talking about 1,300 for a mic alone and I'm not that crazy to pay that, unless I'm playing stadiums, but for now it's weddings and pubs...

I bought this mic for our local church, primarily as a speaking mic. It was a a toss up between this and Shure, but because I'm using E935's for singing and absolutely love it, decided to go for Sennheiser. Straight out of the box, setup was super easy. Mic and receiver synced up on channel 11 and honestly, there is nothing else to do. Reception is crystal clear, mic is what you've come to expect from Sennheiser - clear, loud and easy to EQ. Microphone feels well made and sturdy as well. It has an easy to operate ON/OFF switch at the lower end of the mic that is well hidden so you don't accidentally switch it off! There is also another switch to mute the mic on the more obvious, accessible part of the mic. All I can say is that I haven't come across anything that I don't like yet....

It's a Shure product so I expected good quality. The price for the 2 mics plus the processor was too good to pass up. The mics are being been used in a church on average 4x/week for up to 10 hours and so far they work fine. No issues with interference so far. They're quite light and initially didn't feel as sturdy as some of the more expensive wireless mics used in the past, but with the experience over the past year, I do not have any concerns. The distance between the processor and where the mics are generally used is approximately 15m. Setup was super easy - select the same channel on the processor and mic and off you go. Compared to an SM58, the sound of these mics is great for speech/singers. I would buy these again if more would be required.

I purchased this set for my small rental business. "Shure" brand has its authority and there are probably no problems with clients when choosing wireless microphones for their events. Of course, as a sound engineer I do feel difference between BLX and ULX, SLX series, but the price also matters! In future I'm planning to purchase Sennheiser systems because they have microphones with metal shells even in beginner series. It looks far more reliable! To sum up: Radio interference problems - never experienced when following the manual. Sound quality - appropriate for BLX series. Reliabilty - I would never try to drop the mic to the floor! It's just fragile plastic!

I was familliar with the KSM9 microphone and while searching for a wireless upgrade I came across the ULXD. I was able to rent the ULXD24/KSM9 twice for a couple of live performances in medium venues (up to 400 people). It was amazing in every term so I decided to buy my own. And then I descovered the QLXD offering the same sound quolity, the sane level of building quolity having almost the same specifications but in a lower price point (as it's missing some very minor - for my perpuses - specs). I was a bit sceptical in the beginning but then I decided to go for it and, today (more than 3 months using it), I have not regreted it! It worths every penny! You just can't go wrong with this system. Digital, 1.9ms latency (non-existent in audio terms) sounds phenomenal, interchangable capsules, but the stock 835 is a decent allrounder and can be eq'd for most jobs. Love the fact that interference doesn't break through (Pretty embarassing getting a cab coming through the PA at full belt during wedding speeches on an analogue sennheiser setup) If I have a negative, it would be the app used to manage the system. I find it is a bit flaky in connecting sometimes, and i'd prefer a way to connect it to my computer for more reliability, but it's a small complaint, and one that can be overcome with a bit of perseverence. Once it is connected, it does work quickly and simply. Can't rate this series of radio mics highly enough. Going to be buying...

Our band received 4 pcs of this set only a few days before COVID-19 quarantine, so unfortunately we were not able to test it live on stage... ...but we did it in our 2.5 by 3.5 metres concrete made basement rehearsal room – a place where average radio equipment would fail. These mikes did not. Selecting 4 different channels from the same frequency group went easy and voila, all 4 units worked flawlessly. No dropouts, no feedback, nothing, despite of the fact that they all were within these few square metres. Just for fun we went into the sauna on the other side of the concrete wall and still had no issues. We believe that it will work even better on stages. Hopefully we will see after the quarantine.

Got one myself after using this mic for almost one year at the club I'm engineer ! Still rocking solid, never a drop (I'm using it together with 4x LD IEM systems, 1x Sennheiser Wireless, 1x AKG wireless mic clip), true diversity and really nice sounding ! Recommended ! Auto frequency scan is a quick tool to get a good spot in the spectrum and IR Sync works in seconds and you're ready to go ! Feels a bit light in the bottom part, but I've stuffed in a bit of bluetack in the bottom case and now is balanced with the head :) .

I’ve been in the entertainment business for over 40 years and had many different microphones and this one tops them all by a long way. The transmitter and receiver are sold and has zero dropouts so far and very reliable as you would expect from Sennheiser and has a nice onboard EQ option. The Neumann Kk 205 capsule is in one word mind blowing and sounds authentic deep full and natural when singing any note where others can sound thin. The feedback rejection is excellent for a condenser mov and produces a wonderful vintage tone and stands out well in the mix which I’ve been looking for for years and at last found. I also bought the Sennheiser dynamic 945 as a backup and very good for a dynamic but miles apart from the Neumann kk 205 in every way apart from a slightly better feedback...
