No doubt there are a lot of reviews out there of this capsule, nevertheless I want to leave mine. Most noticeable features are as follow: - Tone for vocal in the midds gives a "real" feeling without much of EQing - Top end clarity (but not too harsh -> very very very smooth) - Plosives are well controlled because of the pop filter incorporated If I had to leave some bad feedback, the only thing would be the lack of color choice too match with most handheld Sennheiser transmitters Overall: Best money to quality supercardiod capsule

We are totally amazed by this microphone! It is very clear, has a linear spectrum, low noise level, it just sounds fantastic. We are very happy with deep sub base frequencies, as well as high and super fine sounds. We tried it for vocals as well as for instrument (cymbals in our case). The michrophone seems to work really well both for vocals and for instruments. We have had no feedback issues whatsoever with this capsule, even when pointing the microphone (with a high gain) straight towards speakers, in a very big concrete room. Special with this microphone is also that you can grab it high up, cover parts of the mic, and it gives no feedback. (we tried the same with the Sennheiser MMK 965 - 1BK, it was feedbacking immediately). The dpa is also much smaller and lighter, compared to the...

I heard a lot of good things about this capsule, and after wondering if I should invest, I finally took the plunge and I am very happy that I did. It is coupled to my Sennheiser SKM 5000 transmitter, replacing my old Sennheiser capsule. It is much heavier than the Sennheiser capsule, but the whole transmitter assembly now balances better in the hand. This capsule is very well made and is robust, with a finish that matches the transmitter well. It has a different pop filter design, and it is less susceptible to pops. The sound from vocals is rich and smooth, and instantly takes the quality of sound to the next level. For recording a digital piano, it is equally capable. I'm very happy with it.

I'm very impressed with the D:Facto. This capsule provides incredibly clear, crisp, rich sound, and is well worth the investment. The hard-shell transport box looks great too, and provides good protection. Both the capsule and the adapter are solid and are very high quality, but because of this build quality, they are also quite heavy. I use the D:Facto capsule with an SKM 5200-II transmitter as a hand-held microphone, and the entire assembly (with batteries) is just over 400 g, a point to note if you are used to something lighter (for comparison, the Sennheiser ME 5005 with an SKM 5000 transmitter is around 250 g). The SE5 adapter fits perfectly with the transmitter body, and both have the same satin black finish (for the black option), giving the assembly of the capsule, adapter, and...
