Buffet Crampon RC Prest. Barrel 65mm Bb-Clar

Buying a woodwind part can be a hit-or-miss affair, but this Buffet Crampon RC Barrel fits like a dream. Beautiful tone, very consistent intonation, and it just fits on my R13 without the need to take it to a repair shop for fine adjustment. May be I am just being lucky, but I tend to think it is due to the stringent standand imposed on every part made by Buffet. I am now a very happy customer.
Buffet Crampon Chadash Barrel 66mm Bb-Clar.

I have the opportunity to try it on different clarinets, because I fix them in music school. I'm amazed at the difference in tone and playability. Plastic clarinets also sound and feel like more expensive when playing with it. It also makes it much easier to play the highest notes. And also the instrument has generally more consistent playability. Fit is also more than good, tighter at the mouthpiece and a little looser at the other end.
Buffet Crampon Moennig Bb-Clarin. Barrel 62mm

This barrel corrected a little flat tune of my Buffer RC Prestige clarinet. With by mouthpiece and reed (Legere) combination the tune was a little bit flat and with this 62 mm barrel it is now OK. Also I like the sound of this barrel and I can recommend it. Good barrel in reasonable price :-)
Buffet Crampon ICON 65mm barrel gold
Based on 1 reviews
The Icon gold barrel is a great product! Apart from the fine aesthetics characteristics, in a RC Prestige this barrel can increase its focus and projection. As a result, it is easier to blow through the instrument and to play more in tune in the whole range, even in the chalumeau F, E notes (normally low in pitch). Another good improvement is related to the staccato, which is facilitated. This Icon barrel conjugates some of the good features of the Buffet?s Moening (e.g., staccato, tuning issues, ?) and Cadash models (e.g., sound body and projection, ?) in a single barrel. In terms of timber, this is of course a matter of opinion, however it seems the tone is clearer than that of the original stock barrel. Overall, it is a good product if you are willing to spend its money!
Buffet Crampon Moennig Barrel 68mm PRT-Bb-Cla

Superb craftsmanship. This barrel was exactly what I was looking for to add some personal character and flare to my student clarinet. The resistance to breath versus tone and dynamic response is excellent. The timbre is now much better now then with the original barrel. Long notes are much easier to play because of the barrels resistance design which also does not sacrifice timbre. I will be buying the same brand again.

Paulus & Schuler GbR Zoom Clarinet Buffet RC 62mm

I bought this barrel because I sounded extremely tall especially from the c3 and higher tones. I was impressed by the radical change in my sound after changing the barrel. I like very much the possibility of changing size, which allows for incredible flexibility at different temperatures. I recommend people with intonation problems like me to try out the Paulus & Schuler series I think they will be pleased.

I used this in pair with a uebel 632 and it's just absolutely amazing! The barrel is very easy to adjust and it can adjust to super specific measurements, even in between half milimeters! Highly recommend this barrel for any german clarinet players

This barrel goes perfectly with my BC Tosca and fixes the intonation problems that I had with the original barrels. It's easy and fast to adjust the length - you don't even have to stop playing if one hand is free:) Although If I were to buy it again I would choose the 63mm one because I rarely use it scrolled more than to a level 3, but sometimes I need it to be even shorter when the clarinet is cold! For me, it also changes the sound a bit making it warm and beautiful!
