Great guitar

Bought this guitar as a upgrade on my first €100 guitar. It has no standing out features, but does everything it needs to do, and does it well!

Have been playing this guitar for about a year. It has a great feel and plays really well, not to mention the slick design with a really nice matte black finish.

I have yet to find any cons for this guitar

nice first electric

So bought it as my first electric guitar and couldn't be more happy.

Can't compare it to others, but it feels great and I can't put it down!

Not bad for a bugdet guitar

It is my first Solar Guitar. I cannot say that I am dissappointed. The guitar is good all around. The quality of the frets, the neck, the tuners, bridge. All is in very good shape.

Of course the guitar lacks features. This is why I cannot give 5 stars in that category. This is not a bad thing. If you want features like an evertune bridge or locking tuners, you should go for the A1-series. The A2 series is as basic as they come and does the basic stuff quite well.

The sound of the duncan solar pickups is surprisingly juicy. I usually use active pickups (EMGs and Fluence). The only weakness is, that the pickups are a bit too noisy for my taste.

This brings me to quality. The quality of the guitar overall is very good. You cannot find anything visible, that could have been done better. But I think the pickups are not installed completely perfectly, since they are quite noisy (as I said earlier).

Aside from that: I restringed the guitar with thicker strings and tuned it down to C standard. It sounds kickass!

If anyone is looking for a budget guitar for metal - this is a good choice!

Really great guitar for a reasonable price.

I'm really happy with the sound and play-ability of the guitar.

The guitar came perfect out of the box, good playing action, not too high or low just the way i like it.

No paint runs or any kind of physical blemishes were on the guitar at all.

The Seymour Duncan Solar pickups are great sounding passive pickups. High enough output but still have a lot dynamics and touch-sensitivity which you expect from a passive pickup.
