AWSOME!

Killer guitar for its price range! Best neck on a guitar under £1000 by a mile! Solar Duncan pickups are admirable, finish great although mine had minor white stains/ filing marks around 24th fret area, played this guitar for over 8 hours since receiving this morning! Without a doubt my favourite guitar by a mile! Extremely light guitar! Cant get enough of this guitar!

Incredible guitar for the price

I just wanted to make clear that I am not a 7 string player. I play a lot of metal but I did not try to play anything with a 7 string before. So my intention was to pick up something "cheap" but durable until the end of the days (I do not like to buy things to sell it after and buy another "superior" thing).

My budget was 700€ and I start to research good options. Jackson, Schecter, LTD, but any of those brands convince me. So I remember that one of my favorite youtubers had his own brand and I thought let's see what other people think about this brand, and yep... I could not find any bad comment about Solar products.

I pull the trigger and when it arrived... God, it was amazing just out of the box. The finish was incredible, the ebony fretboard black as I love and very well adjusted. The knobs seem perfectly put and the switch control very durable.

One of the things that I had doubts about was the bridge. Nowadays, hipshot is the popular option and other options could generate doubts about it but when you see it in person you know that is very wall built.

Another spec that can generate doubts are the pickups. However I can say that if you want to play metal they are great pickups and I can be sure that it is not necessary to look up for another options. Also, although the cleans are not the best ones, they full their purpose completely.

The only con that I found in this guitar are the tuners. The are not locking and I think that is something everyone agrees. In these days that option should be the standard option in these kind of guitars. But,, whatever I think this point can be solved easily.

So yeah, if you are looking for the best price-value option for a 7 string guitar I think this guitar will not let you down in any way.
