looks and sounds amazing right out of the box, however, after some upgrades, it is just beyond compare. Neck is really smooth, the finish is impeccable. upgrades: -graphtech tusq nut and stringtree -elixir strings -DiMarzio DP384BK bridge pickup -SD Mark Holcomb Alpha Neck 6 pickup -2x CTS 500k audio taper pots -0.22nF Vitamin T Oil Cap -switchcraft jack -schaller 5 way mega switch n.b. the mini pots, 3 way switch and input jack originally in the guitar were cheap, but the soldering was done really well and i had no issues whatsoever. n.b.2 the issue with the bridge not having a good connection to the grounding cable due to paint as highlighted in some youtube videos i've seen was already fixed, the paint was removed on the back side of the bridge and the guitar had no grounding issues....

I have owned this guitar for over a year. Good tuning stability, spot on intonation from delivery, good low action - overall well setup on arrival. No fret buzz. Just no problems at all. The guitar is genuinely a pleasure to play and the notes resonate really well unplugged. It has thin-ish c shaped neck that has a satin finish that for my medium sized hands is pretty much spot on. The output for me plugged in is medium - but it wasn't sold to be anything other than this. Overall - genuinely great quality, emminently playable intermediate instrument- be prepared to swap pickups.

My first T-style guitar and I'm very satisfied with my choice. Lots of features for the money, superb manufacture quality. Quality control also excellent. Rolled edges are nice addition but on the other hand it forced me to be more carefull when band or slide because low and high E string can easely slip of the freatboard. C shape neck is very suitable and comfortable for playing. I like very much satin finish on the back of the neck. Freats needed some polishing but they are even with no sharp edges. Bridge pickup very nice, fat as it should be on T-style guitar. Only thing that I don't like is neck pickup. Very low output, I would say unconvincing. It has similar clarity as strat neck pickup but in the future I'm planning to replace it. This is the matter of taste not a faulty...

Great guitar for the money, and I just really love how this guitar looks, feels and sounds. I love every aspect of it. First off, I just want to point out that i have not done any mods or adjustments after i unboxed it. It doesn’t really need to either. I think it all comes down to preference. For me, the action was a little high, but that’s just a quick fix. The paint job on this was flawless. Absolutely stunning. No scratches or bad spots. An absolute artwork of an instrument. When it comes to the pickups, that’s the part I’m the most impressed by. The paint job being acceptable is something i take for granted when buying an instrument like this, however, the pickups could be a real hit or miss. These are probably the best pickups i have ever heard on a guitar at...

I have being eyeing this guitar up for so long but I have finally ordered/received it and It is everything I had hoped for. Be warned that the neck is extremely thick! Far thicker than my 50's Les Paul neck!! But after 10 mins of playing it I had become used to it. This neck does make it slightly neck heavy and as a keys/guitar player this can cause problems when playing keys(I do use the dimarzio cliplock system which is quite slick so maybe a classic leather strap would be advisable for this application) The finish is immaculate, The Maple top is stunning. All the classic tele tones are there between the Twang king in the neck position and combined with the Chopper-T in the middle position(which can be used in parallel or series thanks to the faux tone knob which switches between both)...

I bought this guitar as a work horse studio guitar. I loved everything about it from the moment I took it out of the box. The finish was perfect, the frets, bridge, locking tuners, everything was of the highest quality. I was drawn to it originally because of the versatility of the Fishman Fluence pickups. They did not disappoint. the split coil neck pickup is awesome for those Strat/Tele cleans, the vintage PAF voice is great and the Hot Rodded EMG style voice gives you everything you could hope for and more. All the different voices gives you a great array of lead tones too. It's been a few months now and I've no desire to put it down. I'm tracking an album with it at the moment, and it's been great. It's tuning stability while tracking is a real plus, even at lower tunings. I'd...

This has joined a collection of Telecasters of various sources and pedigree. Delivery and packaging were all exemplary. Overall, I'd recommend it but there were a couple of issues I found. Fret polishing was incomplete. A 3mm band under the top E string had been missed all along the fretboard leaving unacceptable transverse grinding marks across the frets. Secondly, when I removed the strings, all six ferrules fell out! Once I had polished the frets properly, lowered the nut slots a little, lowered the bridge saddles, made minor adjustments to the intonation, tightened the truss rod, glued in the ferrules and raised the neck pickup, it was up there with the best of them. A lovely neck. Ignoring a few wonky pickguards screws and normal setting up issues described above, the fret polishing...

Arrived today. Ordered it Thanksgiving eve, got it today on the 27th. I was shocked How absolutely gorgeous this guitar is. I currently own a $1,700 Kissel, a $1500 Godin along with a moderately priced Gretch and Guild (plus the soon to be sold Squier Anniversary Tele). My “cheapest” guitar (locking tuners and all) could turn out to be my favorite, but right now it’s going in the nice case I received, included in the price, and it’s getting a bow for Christmas. Under the tree it goes. Merry Christmas to me.

I was intrigued by what I had heard about Harley Benton, so I placed an order to see if the hype was real. Boy, was it real! Out of the box, my guitar's finish was perfect, no flaws. It was almost in tune (not bad since it traveled ~ 7,500 km), the intonation was perfect, and the fret finishing was outstanding. The one minor issue was that the frets could use a polish. For a $360US guitar, that is not a dig. Features, fit, finish, are all well above its price point. I did change to Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinky's, and polish the frets, and now, this is the guitar I pick up first to play. I can't imagine needing to make any other changes, it is a guitar that punches far above its weight, the value for the money is amazing. If you are on the edge, just take the plunge. This thing is amazing.

Very playable, this is an excellent guitar. I was previously playing on a Squier Tele I liked a lot but I have to say the difference is huge. The additional pickup makes the guitar versatile. The colour is amazing, even better than the photos. But... the guitar was not playable when it arrived, maybe because of the delivery, a lot of buzz, I needed to spend some time to adjust it. Not the end of the world, but a friend ordered a Harley Benton the same day, probably something like 5 times cheaper, and his guitar arrived in perfect condition, ready to play, we are still laughing about this :-) Anyway, this is a great guitar, I recommend it, excellent value for the money.
