amazing microphone for guitar cabs. Comparing this to SM57 is 57 just a boring thing. The sound is exactly there and the lifetime warranty just a bonus

Bought it for the look XD

I gotta be honest, I bought this mic just 'cause it looks amazing :P

The design is really cool and the integrated capsule shock mount doesn't just look cool, it works really great.

I use it in his intended "job", as a guitar amp mic. The sound it's really present and it helps the guitar cut through the mix. No warm and mellow sound here, this thing sound really "sharp" almost too much.

I tried to compare it to other mics and it sounds closest to the Sennheiser e906.

The mic is shipped in a cardboard box with a soft bag and a guitar pick for free.

In the end I think this is something different to use on guitar cabs in the studio, but if you want to use it live (I never tried it live) I guess you should be better off with a e906.

Fantastic

Absolutely fantastic mic for clean and distorted guitar. Great for metal and rock!! extremely high signal to noise ratio so you'll get a very good quality recording and... well, it looks really awesome!!
