Disappointment

Initially I thought that ok, not bad but nothing special. With little more testing I was disappointed. Very audible hiss with boosting the treble a bit or boosting the volume at all from preamp or my amp. The grit sounded ok with low volume but any increase in volume made it sound terrible and the scoop cut the wrong frequncies making my Stingray sound extremely nasal. Switches also made very loud pop when using when any string was sounding. Practically unusable mid-song (switching with hand when placed up). Conclusion: Would probably work with passive basses best, poor choice for active with hot output. I expected more from Source Audio, seems almost like demo pedal instead of finished product.
