Lindy Audio Converter SPDIF Digital
Based on 5 reviews
This small but good gadget converts an optical digital (TOSLINK) audio signal to an SPDIF coaxial digital signal. Or the other way around, depending on how a little switch on the side is set. Sound quality is very good. No degrading of the signal, as far as I can hear. The converter is very small and weighs very little, so it doesn't take up much space. The powersupply is bigger than the converter, but still small and has a long cable. There is a very good and easy to understand instruction sheet in the packaging. If you need to connect a TOSLINK and coaxial SPDIF the Lindy converter will do the job nicely for you. I recommend it to everone.
Presonus SW5E AVB Switch
Based on 2 reviews
I am using this network switch between the Series III StudioLive desk and two NSB 16.8 network boxes. The switch has enabled me to have the NSB's accessing different network points in the building, not just daisychained in the same room, and we can now have the show band off-stage during performances. Can't really rate the sound for this product as it doesn't make, or have, a sound; there have been no issues with network drop-out and the sound is as you would expect from Presonus equipment.
D&R Telephone Hybrid 1
Based on 1 reviews
This hybrid is a great low cost way of bringing a telephone call into a radio show or broadcast. Quality is comparable with more expensive units. Easy to use and operate as only one button to use once setup. We use this in a studio environment with a A+H XB14-2 mixer. The pair gel perfectly together. Only improvement would be if they produced or supplied a plate to make it fit the whole of a 19" rack not just half!
