NICE GUITAR
love this guitar, use it daily, the only thing is that it came with poor set up so had to do it myself, but everything else is amazing!!
Amazing piece of work
I tried out the guitar as soon as I received it. At first I found it difficult and dry to play because I was used to the Fender Telecaster. But then, after I got used to it, I was hooked for good. It's a great track, with a unique sound, tight, with strong bass sound, strong full of tension and a playful feel. I recommend her unreservedly
Very good, very nice
Order came for just 5 days. Guitar is in perfect conditio. Amazing sound and quality
Be$t quality for money
I went to a JustMusic to check guitars. I felt most comfortable playing this one in its Vintera and Squier Classic Vibes version. After consulting with a more experimented friend I went for this one and I'm super happy with it. Sounds amazing, even unplugged from the go. It's two different circuits gives two completely different sounds: one being more jazzy and mellow and the other more attacky and rocker. Add on top of all the pickup choices you can have and you get a super adaptable and fun to play guitar. It's also super comfy to play. It also looks sick. 10 out of 10.
for this price this guitar is a must have!
bought this one year ago, after reading some reviews was afraid to buy. cause some wrote about bridge problems, some about frets, but i bought it and i'm too happy with it. only problem that i had is a buzz. but you can fix it by moving that small thing near the bridge pickup.
Great, but not perfect.
This guitar is astonishing. Plays great, feels amazing,but.....the volume pot is a little funny. Replaced the pot and now it is my favorite guitar. Plays as well as my buddies jap fender jag. Would recommend.
Good guitar if you know how to set up guitars
Frets - poorly polished, very scratchy when bending. Realy needs a good polish. Few frets are a tiny bit high, would be a problem if you want a realy low action and no buzz. Also few frets are poorly crowned.
Neck - nice, confy and straight
Tuners - seem fine, a bit stiff but I like that.
Pickups - nice sound
Finish - looks good, no problems at the first glance
Setup - bad factory setup. Neck needs a shim. Bridge is resting on the body, which is bad for a jaguar style guitars. It needs to be higher for bridge to move together with the strings when using whamy.
Whhamy - works fine, but lots of mechanical noise when using.
Nut - nice bone note, but could be cut a little diper.
Overal I would not recomend it for beginers. But for those that know how to polish frets, shim the neck and do a good setup - great guitar.
Pretty good, but plastic protection foil failure
I’m very happy with this guitar. I love the sound! But I don’t understand why the plastic protection foil is stuck under the bridge! I have to unscrew the bridge to be able to remove it completely.
appalling
I initially posted a good review but I have to come back and agree with another reviewer: this guitar is a good wall decoration but the QC at Fender/Squier has been appalling. It indeed buzzes all over, only some settings are more or less ok, and the trem arm holder - a defining feature - is so badly adjusted it touches the strings. The grounding must be so sloppy I don't even touch it and it 's going to go back or to the luthier. Very disappointing after an initial positive experience with the unboxing. Only thing left for itself: great looks, and the neck is perfect for me.
I love it!
I love this guitar and all the new Squier that Fenderis producing.
Since I had this guitar years ago I wanted to have this new edition, because I really love how it looks like, how it sounds and its playability.
If you don't want to buy a Fender and spend less, this Squier is really recommended.
