Very good but not perfect

I really enjoy playing it and have almost no complaints except for sometimes while playing, the sound cuts and I have to fiddle with the pickup switch to get it working. And sometimes it’s not easy to get it back working. But fantastic when it’s working

Wow...

I must have said "wow" fifteen times in a row when I've unboxed this guitar and held it the first time,I know it must sound like I'm overselling it but I genuinely didn't expect such an instrument for such a low amount of money. The construction and finish were top notch out of the box no setup or tuning needed. If you want a strat that feels substantial and sounds like a strat you can't go wrong with this one. I was a bit worried about tuners not holding tune well but they're more than okay, I even played with the tremolo bar a bit and without too much abuse it still stayed in tune so there's that. All things considered I'm very pleased with this guitar it's more than I expected from an instrument at this price point.

Do note however that Fender must have updated this model since mine came without the skunk stripe on the back of the neck and the serial number and "made in..." on the back of the headstock are now sealed under the finish, they're not above it anymore. Also my neck is more vintage looking than what the pictures show,a bit more brownish but I don't mind it.

Mediocre guitar

Fret buzzing a lot and the tremolo placement is not good, strings are offset where you can easily pull the high E string out of the fretboard.
