Bought this as my second guitar

Started playing with an epiphone les paul type guitar and needed something that has smaller neck because of my small hands. Got this because I always dreamed of a jag in my setup and this called to me. At arrival it had some small problems that didnt take too long to fix since I was ready from other reviews - Problems with the bridge, dry fingerboard, had to change strings, file the frets and fix the nut but after it was done I was extremely in love with the sound and the feel of this guitar. It has so many sound options, the fretboard feels good, tuners are staying in tune even after excessive tremolo usage and bending, it has a good looking and quality finish and my most favorite part - peeling the plastic from pickguard and pickups

QC Issues - Be careful

It's the 2nd top end squier classic vibe with QC issues I bought in the last 6 months. On this Jaguar I had to:

Dress the frets - dull and had sharp ends.

Polish the nut and widen the string slots - when tuning the guitar you could hear the noise caused by the friction.

Fingerboard had marks from a file, sand to sand them lightly. Had to oil it as well as it was incredibly dry.

Bridge position is slightly to the left so the strings are not exactly centered.

I had polished this guitar and the neck with menzerna 1000, 2000, 3000 and 3500 as the clear coat had visible sanding marks.

Be careful here as the matching headstock is just an overspray on the clear coat underneath.

My guitar was unplayable out of the box but I love doing stuff like this so I don't mind it. Just be careful as the Jazzmaster I ordered last year had an oversized neck pocket and I had to send it back as there is nothing you can do about it.

Mint guard was horrible shade but that's my opinion.

I can confirm that the pickguard and all chrome plates are not the same size and shape as they are on a Fender Jag so be careful if are looking for replacements.
