Ahhh the memories...............

I had the real deal back in the 80's. To be able relive the feel of that Fender Mustang with this cheaper version is a real treat. Whilst of cause it doesn't sound like the original it does have a pleasant tone that is very usable.

UPDATE: Didn't play it much. Have since been playing it. Past the 7th fret the high E is un intonatable for some bizarre reason as all other strings are fine when adjusted.

Fender Squier Bullet Mustang HH BLKIL

I am not really a guitarist who knows his stuff when playing although I have managed to wear out my squier stratocaster frets quite badly after years of playing. This guitar had just the perfect price tag for me since I wanted to try humbucker pickups and a bit different neck to play on. this is shorter scale and flatter radius. Sound is refreshing for my limited experience after single coils. Just what I needed to beef up the sound. I have maybe a high fret on 1st string side on 2nd or 3rd fret. Otherwise I could get the action a bit lower... I need to find a straight edge to check what is the case... Otherwise kinda suits the need I have. The screws holding the pickuard are not going straight down. Fret ends were suprisingly smooth though. Frets them selves are very scratchy as new. Fingerboard too. I suggest some oil or similar to treat the fingerboard. Suprisingly long cons list... but there you go, honest stuff. Still won't pay "reasonable" 500€ for electric guitar :D

Early lockdown guitar purchase before I discovered Harley Benton Guitars.

Love it to bits.

Love the Fender Squier Bullet Strat also.

I’m not a guitar make and model Snob.

I’ve bought over 20 Harley Benton guitars since lockdown started back in March because my son wanted a electric guitar.

Very good beginner guitar

I use it to practice at home.

The sound is great and I like the overall package, but there are some minor final touches that are missing, like coils a bit shaky, wood on neck fells unfinished on some places. This is noting to get disappointed about at this price range!

In general, very satisfied and play with it every day!
