Squier Mini Jazzmaster

I bought this guitar for my child. The HH layout is perfect for rock'n'roll. The size of the guitar is perfect for the child's height and the weight is also appropriate. The build quality is good. And the price is very reasonable.

Overall 5 stars!

For the price is just a Bargain. It needs a bit of TLC like any other inexpensive instrument but after that it does the job and it's such a good looking instrument.

For what I read seems that some people wants to get a full on jazzmaster experience for a fraction of the price therefore the disappointment.

I've bought this guitar for my kid and he is happy and so am I. When I was a kid my first electric guitar was much much much worst than this, so for the money I believe this is a bargain and such a good looking little guitar.

OK begginer guitar

I bought this guitar for my 8 year old child to learn playing. Pros: 1.short scale for small children hands, 2.light weight, 3.good sound. 4. good playability Cons: 1.very small strap knobs, the strap keeps falling off, I replaced it imediately with normal ones, 2.very pointy fret ends, i filled them down with sand paper, 3.very little neck dive. Other: some setup was needed, mainly truss rod setup(it was way to tight, no neck relief, octave setup was ok, frets seem level, no buzzing with minimal neck relief, strings seem very light for such a short scale. Fit and finish is ok, better on the front of the guitar than on the back, where you can see the lines of separate wood pieces. The neck doesn't appear to be finished in any way, it looks like raw wood(could be oiled but i don't think so) , which is great for feeling when you play(depending of course of personal preference), but we will see how dirty it will get in time. The headstock is from 2 pieces of wood. All in all, OK value for money.
