Excellent beginner guitar

Solid backup or beginner guitar. Surprisingly well set up straight out of the box

First guitar and it's a good one. Was not expecting how noisy it will be, maybe should have went for humbucker.

Out of the guitars I've bought Its one of my favorite sounds great and the pick-ups and really well made there's been some small nicks on the body but they aren't noticeable

Guitar For My Grandad

I bought this guitar for my Grandfather as a birthday present. I received it a few days ago, and gave it a quick inspection before wrapping it for him.

The pickups sounded great through my Boss Katana MkII - the neck was thick and rich, the middle was nice and balanced, and the bridge pickup was epic and powerful.

The maple neck and fretboard plays really nicely and feels good in my hands. The finish for the wood looks and feels really nice.

The body of the guitar looks really nice, the sunburst finish is really cool looking and is nicely done. What I really like about the body - more specifically the electrics is the pickup selector switch. On other squires I have owned they felt loose and a bit flimsy, but this one made a nice clicking noise without feeling sticky, and it feels higher quality compared to what I am used to.

Overall this guitar is fantastic - I really hope he likes the guitar, he’s been playing for years now, but he only has a small 3/4 size electric guitar that doesn’t really work - I’m hoping this will be his go to guitar for many years to come.
