Great lights at a great price!

For the price of this unit you really can?t fault the lights and the array of options that come as standard. If I was to really dig and find a fault it would be the lack of a white led in the mix. It would have been nice to have a white strobing effect but even with the combination of the IR remote, white is a mix of other colours to give a blend to try and create bright rather than white. But this is a small complaint in an otherwise perfect array of lights. Great for mood lighting as well as the full on disco effect. The addition of the case that comes with them makes it even better value although the case can not accommodate the top eyelet hooks.

Good quality and features

I use this as a fixture in a small venue for a stage approximately 6x6 metres. There are lots of programs and each of the four lights can be positioned in any direction. The beam coverage is good for spotlighting individual band members. The build quality is good and the item seems well built as well as being reasonably light. Overall a very good additional to a stage lighting set up.

Good value for money - very happy

Used this product (two of them) for my 5 piece band and duo gigs. Wouldn't consider using it without a stand, but the lights work very well. Decent mix of presets mean I could find a setting I like and then leave it set like that. Came with a long Euro lead, and a shorter UK spec lead so I could use it straight away. I replaced the plug on the long lead for UK plug sockets.

Only downside is the LED lights are a bit harsh and directional, but this is what LED units tend to be like and not really a reflection on this unit in particular. Overall very good product.

i bought only one this time but iam sure pertfect like any moving heads specially for wedding and a simillar parties. silent and smooth, handy to use and LED system nice and bright enough. With stand is strong also and safety. high recommended without question :)

Great value

A very well made and functional product for the price. These lights (I bought two) are adequate for small to medium size venues and the colour range and available preset programs are more than enough for most needs. I have not found anything about them that I don't like.

Very versatile and very bright

Bought these for our band as part of a bundle, and having had experience with various light systems over the last 10 years these Stairville CLB2.4's are simply superb.

The degree of light spread from the units is excellent, not too narrow, not too wide. Meanwhile the brightness is surprisingly strong, great for situations where you have a dark venue.

I haven't had the opportunity to fully take advantage of the DMX control, however the built-in programs (which can be customized) are perfectly good. If I was to nit-pick, I would mention that the 'sound' program mode does get a little stroboscopic and distracting, so use it with care.

In summary, a superb product at a great price, highly recommended.

I use it for my acoustic trio and satisfied.

Great value for money

I bought two of these for use with my function band. They are really easy to set up and the automatic functions work great. They have filled some BIG rooms and I'm very happy with them.

i have 2 of these,very easy to instal and power on. it has decent light output,dmx is fine. quality maches the price. i recomend for small bands

Good

This light was bough as a set. when I received the light I was not expecting it to be in a case for the price that I paid, the case is strong and will help protect the light its also a great case for caring alone to gigs as its the perfect size for the light. I was looking at the same type of light on other sites and shops but they were more expensive and a lot smaller without a case. I was very surprised to see the stand that came with it to be such good quality and very strong, it was made of full metal and locking pins for every stage of the stand, lovely product and very strong

nice system

i use this system mostly for small clubs or acoustic projects. i use two of this, one for each side of the stage and the result is very very good. Low price, good result.

Excellent for the price

Bought 2 sets of these and have to say for the money they are great. They come with nice box's and are very light. L.E.D's no more waiting for them to cool before breaking down! Build quality is good and should stay that way with the box's. If you're on a budget and need some decent lights you won't go far wrong.

Bright lights

These lights are bright. Really bright in fact. We use them as extra lighting in the backdrop of the band and they light up the stage area perfectly.

They are easy to transport and even easier to setup and pit away.

Can't recommend highly enough.

Great set of budget lights

Having been warned about certain cheap lighting brands I settled on these and am pleased with them. They're bright with lots of options and - without having taken them to gigs much yet - seem to be good quality.

Without the foot controller though there isn't much in the way of control, especially the speed.

Great value for live music in small venues

I'm using these for stage lighting in small cafe and bar venues. So simple to set up and use, easy to transport and well packaged in the lightweight padded case.

I'm using a dmx controller to get the light colour I want, I guess if you were doing Rock and Roll you could just use the little control panel on the product to set it up but for acoustic gigs I'm looking for something more subtle.

You can't do anything complex, but I just have the lamps set to a warm colour and adjust the 4 heads to cover the stage area, ideal for soloists or small groups.

Two of these with two 3.5m stands and a controller and you have an instant theatre wherever you go. Magic!

Fantastic for the money

Looking for something simple for my rock covers band playing clubs and private functions and this certainly fits the bill. Great light output and easy to use. I found the light to sound setting over sensitive even on the lowest sensitivity settings but just let it run through one of the preset programmes and that was fine. Its fully compatible with DMX should you have the luxuary of someone to operate lights for you but for my use just some colours that change now and again is fine. I bought in a bundle with the stand for around 130GBP which is exceptional value, comes with a case too....
