Stairville D610T Terminal Dimmerpack

ok non-professional dimmer
This is my second unit purchased in hopes that it would be better than the previous one. My main issue is, that some or all channels will flash randomly with erroneous values. Other DMX fixtures inline don't appear to suffer from the same problem. Unfortunately, I don't have the necessary tools to troubleshoot this problem. DMX terminator plugs or even proper DMX data cables have no effect. The last idea I have is to minimize the cable length entirely by putting a node right next to the units.
TLDR; this product's intended use truly is (as indicated by the price) non-critical pub gigs and NOT, as I foolishly thought, pro theatrical lighting.
