I have recently purchased 8 of these lamps to replace 6 par 64 1k cans which we has been using for 20 years as FOH stage illumination. Bulb replacement is expensive and difficult. These flat par lamps are a lot less intrusive to the eye and I hope they will last for the next 20 years.
As 2 channel, you have the option of cold white, which is very bright white or warm white, which has a nice soft look. You can combine the two and have a very bright but warmer look. All 18 leds are in use with each channel so there is no loss of power which ever you use. They can all be linked together from one power outlet as they are only 68 watts each, cutting out expensive sockets and wiring. Only 6 were needed for FOH, so 2 have gone on stage.
We are highly delighted with them and are now completely LED, with 16 Stairville RGB Par 3 channel and 8 white.
