Good quality Par 56

Good quality lightweight item with good colour spectrum availability , used these as mood lights at weddings and other events and together with a decent led controller they have done the job reliably

Solid par cans

I bought 4 of these as a bit of an experiment as I did not expect much from them for the price. However, I cannot recommend them enough. The build quality is good, they're nice and bright and function well either as stand alone sound to light units or running as DMX.

I added the lights to a current small venue setup controlled by PC using a usb to dmx adapter and Freestyler software. Although Freestyler does not have a Stairville LED fixture, I found 2 or 3 other 5 channel LED fixtures that functioned well with the cans.

I bought a roll of 'Lee Colour Filter 216 2 Diffusion' which gives you a flat colour from the LEDs rather than a mixture of R, G & B. It works really well dispite a small loss of brightness.

The lights have now been gigged 2 or 3 times and worked really well. I will definitely be purchasing some more of these.

I am no expert on stage lighting, but these have served my country band well in those small venues where the house lighting is non-existent. Highly reliable and easy to transport. They provide a good ambience for very little cost. Easily attached to a mic stand or, in our case, the bolt holes proved on our EV p.a. speaker cabs. These lights need to be positioned quite high, a point which is often overlooked so bear in mind how and where they will be positioned before you buy. Great value.

Stairville LED PAR 56 Pol. 151 LEDs RGB

We bought 4 of these for the band. They are--cheap, good quality, bright and very portable.

Stick them on a 4 way bar and you have a half decent light show for your band or disco.

Very low power consumption so no problems with some Pubs poor wiring.

They are somewhat programmable either sound to light or some cahse functions.

Good Value.

Basic and fairly unreliable

These provided a good budget option and in the short term were ok but didn't cope well with regular rigging and de-rigging. We also found them to flicker a fair bit a lower levels of dimming and would sometimes behave strangely when other elements were added to the DMX ring.

All in all, I would say the quality reflects the price but they will do an ok job to meet basic needs.

Fairly good, al round light, useful programming

These are very nice, especially for the price. We have had a problem with a few of the LEDs going (some almost immediately we got them) but there are quite a few of them.

The programming is pretty good and they seem to be sensibly sensitive to sound without too much mucking about.

The lead is a bit short, however. When they are placed on the floor, this is not too much of a problem but whe they are on the LST-250 stand, one has to mount a multi way board right on top of the stand and that looks a bit naff. I would have though a 2m lead would be better. Yes, you would have 2 or 4 leads coming down the stand but it would be a bit more stable.

Otherwise, very nice, entry level lights.

LED lighting

The 4 LED PAR 56 lamps in chrome look fantastic. The light output is as good as expected and the DMX control works well. The sound/light state is to my mind way too sensitive, resulting in an almost white light as colours change so quickly. If there is a way to reduce the sensitivity of the on board sound receptor I would like to know.
