Great value, super bright!

Over all a very solid LED bar which is extremely bright. It is in fact so bright that I usually only run it at 10% on the dimmer. The build quality is solid and the sliding mounting bracket allows for a lot of flexibility when mounting the LED bar to trusses. The feet on the side are also very robust and made of thick metal, as opposed to the thin flimsy feet that you see on most other cheaper LED bars. One downside, and something to keep in mind depending on your use case for these LED bars, is that they do not feature a built-in dimmer channel or shutter channel. While this is great for using them in for example Resolume, this can make using them in your lighting show a bit of a challenge. For me it's mainly the lack of a shutter channel which makes combining dimmer chases and strobing difficult. Also keep in mind that these LED bars are HEAVY and mounting them sideways using the sliding bracket might result in them hanging down slightly due to their weight. So far, none of these issues have caused me to not be able to use them but it still definitely is handy to keep these things in mind. All in all a really good value for money and I have a feeling that these LED bars will last me a long time!

Tough construction + high brightness

Great build quality and good value for money. A great choice for cost effective touring (EDM, bands etc) but I wouldn't necessarily use it for TV or functions due to the 8 bit colour.

Pros:

+Excellent, rugged build quality.

+Very high brightness.

+18 pixels per meter, all addressable.

+Power in and out.

+ Ability to clip on various diffusion lenses.

Cons:

--8 bit colour mixing (so oranges will drop off to red at low intensity, cyan will drop off to green etc).

--Imperfect colour mixing off-axis - so you'll see RGB rather than White if you're up close.

-- 20 something degree beam angle means poor coverage when used for eye candy.

--- Would have liked a greater choice of diffusion filters to address the above issue: 30deg is not much different to 20deg and the 60deg is a 10x60 asymmetric wall washer type lens.

Big, bright and bulky

Used this to light up the background in my home studio. This was more than enough.

Only complaint is that it's pretty heavy and uses the rigging slots commonly used in club or venue light fixtures, not photo studios. So I needed to place it on the floor and couldn't use conventional studio stands to get this thing up.

The unit fell on the floor several times and took no damage, because it's all metal.

A solid unit overall, a great value for money.

Feedback

Lights are solid built. I use them in small theatre - mostly ambiental light. Buying these bars, you get more than you pay for. For me, there are 2 negative things - low dimmer value and high dimmer value changes colors, and I'm missing power twist in and out.

Great quality LED bar

Bought 10 of these to install in a large venue.

Fantastic quality with the main chassis being metal and a massive light output they look great when all on together.

Nice to be able to slide the back mounting point up and down, really helps with installing the fixture.

Nice to have the options of basic to full pixel mapping control.

It works but not like those high end flagship lights, for the hmmm it worth it.

Parfect. Natural colors even with only RGB. I have 10 units - 3 years, no problem.

Fantastic LED Bar

Very bright, the 54 channel mode works fantastically. It looks like a £1000 light for a fraction of the price, the clamps are a bit naff but the product is great, hence the 5* review.

Impressive output for the price

These bars are impressively bright for the price. We have used them at both indoor and outdoor events and they have held their own very well. We have used them for pixel mapping, audience blinders, cycloramas; they are incredibly versatile.

Two issues I would point out: 1) the colour calibration between fixtures is not good, so they maybe aren't suited to more delicate work and 2) one of the screens has become intermittent after only six months.

Other than that, excellent value for money

Brilliant product

The light output from these surprised me indeed. I was expecting less from 3w LED bulbs even though there are 18 of them. On 54 channel DMX control the only limitation is your mind! I thought the legs would be a bit taller to facilitate easier standing on the ground pointing upright without the cables infringing it.
