Bought this for my 6 year old as a first "real" instrument. The good: * solidly built with good craftsmanship * the finish is of good quality * frets don't stick out * action is reasonable * provided strings are very low tension and an average child should have no problems fretting the strings * notes are in tune ;-) The bad: * the sound quality is not great * the sound board is pretty thick, giving it a bit of a muffled sound (but of course makes it stronger, more resistant to children) * tuners are fine, but a bit difficult to tune, not sure why (strings?) I ordered this for my sons birthday, just so he can get a feel for holding a guitar and did not expect it to be much more then a toy. Ob boy was I surprised, it is very well built, sturdy which is good for kids and for traveling. The sound is great, no fretbuzz nothing, all strings and every fret sound very clear. However I did have problem finding a good tuning for it, then decided to do standart tuning which worked out great, it went out of tune after playing a few chords for the first week or so, now this little thing holds its tune very nicely. For this price I am honestly in awe about what I received and I might just get another one for myself.

It's a nicely built little guitar. I use it for camping trips and as a stove away guitar on road trips. Sound is ok. Nothing for someone with large fingers. Perfect for kids.
