Not the best beginner guitar

I would say this is decent guitar for its price but I was a bit suprised that it was very bad when it comes to intonations. I might ship it back. Migh have been a Monday product.

Fantastic value!

I bought this as a travel guitar to go in the overhead locker on flights and am very pleased with. It sounds OK tuned in E, but amazingly good when tuned up to G to compensate for the shorter string length.

Great

Great 3/4 guitar, I bought it for a beginner.

The build quality is very good, i couldn't believe it considering the price.

The sound is great considering this i a 3/4 body, so it won't be as full/deep or powerful as a normal sized guitar.

great beginner guitar

My son started to play guitar on these and he still likes it. Very good price/value ratio! The finish and the sound could be better, but you cannot expect more for this price. Next step is definitely something above 200 euro. Overall, very happy with this guitar, well worth the money!

Its OK

For the price it was ok, But the sound was bad. The sound can be improved by changing strings. Its very quieter. But 3/4 is very suitable for my small hand. A good guitar for the learners or kids with very low budget.

For the price, it is worth it. Especially if you need a beginner guitar for a child, it has great quality for what you are expecting for that price.

Student guitar

Bought for one of my pupils. Bought him a 3/4 size entry level classical guitar. This one came in at less than 50€. It has a good sound and no tuning problems. It generally stays in tune from one weeks lesson to the next.

Pupil is 10 years old and this fits his hands quite well. It's difficult to rate on features as it is just a basic instrument but is of reasonable quality and is in tune all the way up the neck. Frets are a little high but sometimes that is good when you are learning so you can feel where they are a bit better. It's a good instrument for the money and if he decides the guitar is not for him, I'm sure he could sell it almost for what he paid for it.

Startone CG 851 3/4

I'm not entirely sure what I was expecting from an acoustic guitar at this price point, but frankly I'm far from disappointed. Construction is solid, if a little stark, and even with the stock strings it sounded good. It stays in tune surprisingly well, and the tuners do not grind or stick. Action is a little high, but far from unplayable, and for the money very acceptable. Clearly this is a budget instrument, but I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap guitar to mess around with. Moreover, a quick string change was carried out with no problems and definitely helped improve the sound.

Very Bad. This guitar cuts your skin when you play!!!

Hi. I’ve bought more than 25 Startone CG 851 guitars last year and they were generally good. Only one or two had some problems. But this time all the 7 guitars I bought had the same big problem: The metal frets have not been smoothened at the sides, so they cut the skin of the hand of the guitar-player like a razor!

It’s impossible to play with these guitars. They tear your skin off (cut your skin).

Startone review

I have bought over 30 of these for schools. They are durable, hold there tuning and are a good cheap 3/4 size guitar when on a budget. I would recommend for schools.

For the price..

Great little guitar if you need to have spare one for students or for a mate to jam. But not good enough to be a beginner guitar, action is very uncomfortable at times and no truss rod means it gets worse over time. But you can rectify this if you put a capo on the 1st fret, makes the guitar nice to play chords on, has served me really well for something that cost under 30 euro.
