Probably the best kept secret in the noise gate section

This pedal works wonders regarding hissing and buzzing, does not alter the tone and is very easy to dial in.

4 stars in the "handling" section are for the sole reason that this pedal has reversed directions between its loop and in/out sections which is counterintuitive and confusing if you're used to your NS2s and G-strings, but once set up, that's not an issue any more.

"Quality" gets 4 stars as the jacks don't grip connectors securely making it really easy to rip out the cables out of the pedal, sometimes losing signal and not knowing where to look as all seems to be put in correctly. Stopped bothering me once I tied up all my pedals and cables to the pedalboard.

Otherwise - can't praise this pedal enough and I wholeheartedly recommend it to any player experiencing noise in their signal, especially for high gain metal.

Ordered a second one and will probably get a third.

Ok gotta put my opinion in context; Am simple guy when it comes to noise gates, I don't want to Fidel around with thresholds and all that in the middle of a gig.

I wanted a quick way to just change the gate depanding on the next song within seconds. And that is exactly what I got!

1 nob for you gate control! I truly have no regrets with this as the gate is very efficient and well balanced with its threshold and all.

I really don't wish I had more options for fine tuning, as I am very satisfied with its performance and versatility! (Use it for live Semi-acoustic pop/ Jazz/ Blues/ Rnb & world music and Metal studio recordings)

Another cool feature is that you can use it in pairs (2x gate pedal) when using with an amp!

I would get another in the future!

I bought three of these, use two of them on my Soldano SLO 100 in the double up setup and one in front of my Marshall JCM 800, looping in the boost or fuzz pedals I use with that amp.

They do not alter the sound of my rig which I guess is the main advantage of this pedal.

Finding the sweet spot for the amount of noise gate you need is easy, the knob is really sensitive, but there are no minute adjustments available. That said this is one of the cheapest noise gates available, the construction quality is really good and the pedal reacts quickly.

The only downside I noticed are the input jacks. They do not grip the jack firmly and my pedals are moving around because I am not using a pedalboard which lead to the angled jacks coming off on some occasions. I am using cordial cables with Neutrik jacks.

Amazing noise gate and very easy to work with!

Amazing noise gate that made my Randall Warhead dead silent. Very easy to wire up and use. I contacted the manufacturer about power supply and they recommended an isolated power supply so that's what I bought and it works like a charm. All recommendations.

Works great. Has a very fast gate time. Ordering a second. Especially with all the other decent noise gates out of stock for a few months

Super fast gate at a great price

Really simple to use, it you play with lots of fuzz distortion etc, it clamps down on noise really fast, no need to fine tune things with attack and release etc.

Simple and Effective

My first noise gate, came with a very easy to understand instructional booklet including all the ways it can be used. Eliminated the noise in my amp considerably and one knob makes it easy to use.
