One temperamental little thing

The amazing midrange tweaking system of the pedal is completely overshadowed by its untameable boost and some other issues. There's a nasty hiss, especially in the dirty mode, that can be dampened but never eliminated in spite of buffers and isolated power. This, plus the difference in volume between the two channels makes it unusable live.

It's such a shame because the EQ is so good I almost considered keeping the pedal just for that, but I really can't justify the price.

Luke from Stone Deaf knows his stuff, I hope these issues will get addressed in a redesign at some point because he's onto something with the paracentric EQ.
