what?

I bought this pedal for playing kyuss/qotsa stoner stuff, which is essentially describes the marketing behind this pedal. When I received it, I was super exited, and unpacking it was no dissapointment. Super cool and very well built. I was aware that this pedal could be rather hard to dial in, but I spent hours with it, did some research online, spent more hours with it, and finally gave up. Turning the knobs to make it sound halfway decent, felt more like trying to crack open a safe, which I expect I would have similar luck with. I also have the Catalibread SFT and EQD Bellows, and both of them are miles ahead for the tones I was after. So sorry, Stone Deaf, for the bad review. Maybe it was a faulty unit. To make nice, I can recommend another of your pedals instead -Noise reaper. Super pedal.

Great pedal

This pedal has a great distorted sound and the clean sound can be used as a great tone shaper/eq. This pedal has a nice feel and it's quality is amazing.

Unique

The Pros:

"Clean Mode" as a tone shaper it's awesome especially if you wanna get a unique sound.

The Cons:

The difference in intensity between the two modes

One of the most fantastic sounding pedals! In doubt? Buy!

Only one minor (very minor):

I can't use any of my expression pedals with it; you have to buy one from their brand (ToneDeaf). But since I have a volume, expression, and wah wah pedal, there definitely isn't enough room for an extra pedal.

Versatile and fun to use

Great for getting your stoner vibes on but it can do so much more. Changing the height. freq and bandwidth knobs creates a plethora of sounds

Good sound, mediocre quality.

Very good and interesting low gain fuzz, especially if you are looking for QOTSA tone. I really lacked master volume knob, especially considering that this thing is very loud, which might be good/not good for you. Build quality was mediocre at best granted high price tag, but it could be my experience.

A swiss army knife of tone

Works wonderful as a clean boost, works wonderful as a distorted boost. The EQ is very easy to use and the casing feels very sturdy. It chains incredibly well with other pedals and sounds crazy good stacked with other overdrive pedals. The only thing you might miss is a volume knob as it can get quite loud.

I'm an audio engineer, and I bring this pedal to every session. When turning on the pedal, without any filtering applied, it boosts the signal a little and does something very interesting in the mid-range.

The EQ is very good, and an easy tool to adjust/tweak what the pedal is already doing.

I don't use the drive very often, but you can use it either in a subtle way, or abuse it to achieve a massive stoner sound.

Makes your rig sound twice as big, and works in every setup.

In short: I absolutely love this pedal and it saves me a lot of time finding a 'good' guitar sound during recording sessions.

Great pedal

I am using it with Budda V40 combo and Laney Cub 12R combo.

Guitars are Yamaha Revstar 720B and Chapman Guitars ML3 Bea Rabea Massaad Baritone.

It`s a great clean booster and for dirty tones you wont be disappointed too. The most fun starting with expression pedal.

You can use it in two different ways with height knob.

Overall is well build didn`t have any issues with it.

Really inspiring and that`s the reason i love pedals.
