Seriously - the subject isn't me being a fan boy. Prior to ordering, I was a good bit concerned. 800EUR isn't a cheap price for an instrument that you've never even heard of the brand before. And there isn't all that much literature out there about Legator guitars aside from a few YouTube! videos that don't really provide a sense of comfort when you finish watching them. What you will find in forums is talk about their past QC woes, complete with a video of them at NAMM confirming they did indeed have QC problems they were tackling. Let me just say - they've tackled them. The guitar arrived almost absolutely pristine. I found two tool marks on the entire guitar - one on the nut, and one on the top of the guitar near the volume pot. But it required shining a flashlight directly on it...

Standout advantages: - appearance (looks better in real life than in the photo) - tremolo for fan frets and 7 strings, has several tuning options and stays in tune well - universal pickups - good materials (reliable and pleasant) - good weight for 7 strings Cons: - not ideal build quality - not an ideal tremolo system - not the largest set of pickup combinations About the build quality: - My instrument came with grooves under the 2nd and 3rd strings at the 0th fret. Sometimes on bends you hear the sound of a string jumping out of the groove. - Tremolo from a problem batch, in which the design of the tremolo arm holder can become loose and prevent the tremolo from working. Easily fixed with glue, but for a musical instrument in this price category it is unpleasant - In my case, the tremolo...

This instrument is awesome. Starting from the light weight and the true ergonomic factor that makes the instrument so comfortable to play with. When it comes to the neck the ss frets along with the endure neck technology and the fan fret feature gives the best of all standard and extended range guitars and plays like a dream. Not to mention the fishman fluence moderns which are somewhat an industry standard when it comes to modern and versatile tones, this 7 string I truly believe is the one no-one should miss having in their arsenal.

Here's my review of the Cort KX307MS 'Open Pore' Multiscale, I just bought one and looked at it critically, generally, it's good guitar and IMHO worth the money. Body: Mahogany, single cut, nice ST shape. Bolt-on neck: roasted maple, a very subtle colour that matches the guitar in the finish, I don't like the 'Pointy' Headstock though, they always get chipped. I really don't like the nasty cheap Plastic type Nut either, sort of lets it down a bit visually, mine snagged a bit, so will need some graphite. Black teardrop fingerboard inlays, these actually swop sides at the 12th fret, I think that's a nice touch, Dots would have been OK though, what is with the Teardrops? Multiscale: 648-686 mm (25.5" – 27"), Well, I could go on forever about the concept and design...

This is my first 7 string and first fan fret guitar so I was a lil scared going in at first. So far it’s been a joy to play. The setup was perfect out of the box and I only needed to tune it up, so great job guys! The neck has a satin finish which feels so amazing and comfortable to use. Only issues I have with the guitar are the pickups and the fact that it doesn’t come with locking tuners which is fine considering the price point. All in all this thing is a joy to play on and I’d say it’s worth every penny!

I tried to find something negative. The only thing I can say is that it arrived with a snapped high e-string. And I had by coincidence bought some in the same order. 2 minutes later I had replaced the snapped string. The guitar feels great, sits great on my thigh when I am practicing and looks totally awesome! Almost no neck dive even though it has a long fret board. I love the colour; my favourite option of this model Adding "features", "sound" and "quality" I am in reality giving this guitar 15 stars!
