If you like making music and you also record stuff, get this shaker! I use it almost every day for various beats in my home studio. I've got another one that sounds a bit empty compared to this, but i really appreciate every little instrument, perc, etc. Get it to spice your music by adding your own groove!

This is so very well made and sound great (loud, crisp, nice tone) for such an inexpensive item! They are used regularly in an African rhythm group, and there is no problem with them being heard. The quality is good enough that it should last for years. I'm definitely happy with this purchase.
LP 597 Claves Fibreglass

The first time I used these claves a friend of mine told me “with what did you make this sound?” I showed him these claves and he taught I was joking. As these claves are made from high quality fiberglass, they offer a very crisp and clear sound that penetrates in every situation. They also have a weight penalty on such terms as they weigh more than wooden ones but they don’t chip or notch and are still very easy to control.

These claves have a great crisp, clear, solid tone compared to many other low cost claves, and for the price I have not seen or heard a better set. I have in the past bought and returned 4 different sets from various online retailers due to the soft muffled odd uncharacteristic sounds they made, but these I've kept as they are just what I was looking for. I am no expert but I would guess the wood used for these is of much better quality than the others I've used.
Goldon Rythm Assortment 2

This set is everything you can ask for a rhythmic set in school for class 22 - 25 pupils. Although the case is not practical at all. Every time you open it, the interments can easily fall down. There is nothing to hold them in their pocket. After a school year using it, I can say that it’s not easy to clean and the spot you do it, becomes darker and it is not good to feel it when you hold it to play. For a covid period is not a good option.
Sonor PCL Claves

These claves produce a very distinct, dry sound that sound very good. I have used these on many recordings and they always add something to a mix, the sound is very nice and crisp and pleasing to the ear. The sound also is quite light but yet always cuts thru, be it in a recording or in a live situation. Very user friendly and allround.

This instrument truly feels royal, and is miles better than the cheapest "children" Clave. Too bad it doesn't come with a case, which is why 1 star was dropped but I kept it in the plastic bag it came with for its size and it's definitely good enough!

It's hard to get enthusiastic about a couple of sticks, but I'm going to try! I was after a rich sound with good resonance, but how the heck do you find that over the internet? I listened to all the samples & plumped for these. As good as any, I thought. Actually, I'm really pleased with them! They're a neat little pair, easy to put in your pocket &, for their size, the sound is good. Maybe not as deep as I would have liked, but plenty of resonance & good enough. I'm very happy with them for the money.

A few months back I bought these to add to my growing collection of percussion items mainly for recording purposes. Although I had never bought a product made by Meinl before I felt assured from the reviews of their products and their website that they make good quality products. I therefore decided to spend a bit more and get these branded Claves rather then the own brand kind. When I received this item I was not disappointed, the wood looked and felt of a good quality and nicely finished. The sound that is product is sharp and crisp just light Claves should be! I also find that I use these instruments a lot more than I originally thought as I find they are great to keep people in time when multitrack recording as the sound is really easy to distinguish in most mixes. Overall I would...

The sound is very nice, organic and resonant, and the quality is great, solid and well made. You can achieve different resonances and pitch changes by changing left hand positions, the only "downfall" is that it requires slightly more technique than other types of claves to get the most out of it
