My final booster

This has all I need. Super clean boost both overall (green mode) and mid (red mode) in compact pedal. Very reliable and easy to use.

Ridiculously versatile - three in one!

This is my first boost pedal ever, which was about time considering that I only used my previous overdrive pedals with drive at zero and level on full...

Really, really awesome pedal - the clean boost is insanely powerful with more boost than anyone would ever need. Very transparent, but adds a subtle depth and edge to the tone that is very desirable.

The mid boost is probably where I spend most of my time, mostly on the mid-mids setting. I find the low-mids setting to be a tad too dark even with singlecoils, but the high-mids setting can really do the trick sometimes.

The mf(x) switching is also brilliant, making it possible to have the clean boost at a lower setting engaged all the time, and then tweak the mid boost for a solo boost for instance.

And what they don't mention everywhere, is that if you unscrew the back cover; there is a switch to activate a high quality buffer as well! Essentially it will cover three purposes in one pedal!

I just have one minor complaint, and that is the fact that the clean boost is much more powerful than the mid boost in terms of decibels. Not a biggie though, you can (and probably will anyway, because it is so powerful) have the clean boost quite low.

Bottom line - highly recommended, you won't find a better and more versatile boost pedal than this!

Great for singles and humbuckers.

Overall a great booster. The "normal" clean boost does exactly what you would expect. I use it mostly with humbuckers. The mid boost is a different beast. With a separate control you can have two completely different sounding boosts in one. The said mid boost is great for beefing up single coil guitars. I use it for solos with a Telecaster, it pushes is right trough the mix while adding sustain.

koko reloaded - versatile

It's sometimes difficult to know what you are looking for in the worlds of effects. There are so many companies designing similar product, all at high standards.

What we look for is personality, we want to have a product that is reliable, well designed, road worthy and sounds unique if not simply fantastic.

Ruhr released Reloaded versions of their flagship models and they will not disappoint you.

Integrating the mf(x) technology offers colours and versatility whether you place it at the beginning or later in your chain of effects.

Whether you play singles or humbuckers, you are in for a treat.

If the price puts you off, think about what you pay for and the sound you will be getting.
