Needs eq

I know it is cheap but it is working good. You may take a look at the diagram and make eq corrections. Its a bit muddy but what you need is there. It's NOT a sm57 so don't expect that. Pretty heavy and comes with a bunch of holders. I like it on amp and snare recordings.

Good for voice too

Use in studio as voice microphone for drummer (As the drummers voice sounds like drums).

The mic was chosen for it's compact size.

Sound is on the lower frequency spectrum. Otherwise has no distinguishable tone from any other generic microphone.

Better than the standard.

We all know the old trusty 57. Wich drives like an old car.

Guess what. Get this mic and get into the next gear. It’s that good.

Great for guitar, drums, vocals. Great unhyped dry sound.

Hypercardiod is better than cardiod.

Get one now. Three is better. Five is great.

You’ll love it.

So far, great!

I've used it on percussion, acoustic guitar and snare so far.

I'm very satisified for the money. Build quality seems good, accessories a bit brittle but great for the price. The sound is a bit darker and wider range than an SM57, I actually prefer it but if you are used that upper mid boost you will probably need eq.

I'll be getting a couple more.

another very good mike from superlux

I used this mike for the electric guitars, but recently it is my mike for the kick drum. in both situations works very well. ofc its better to use with the guitars, but I was surprised how good the bass drum was recorded. very well made, very good sound, very good price.

Soper Superlux

Don't be fooled by the price and it's size.. this is a classy little operator...

I've actually used this mic to record 3 albums of traditional Irish music.. mostly banjo and guitar.. AND CHOSE THIS OVER SOME EXPENSIVE condenser mics that I own just for it's great natural sound.

Absolute bargain.

Good enough for looping

I bought this mic for "extra" sounds to be used in guitar loops, banging on environment etc.

It does work really well for this, solid with good noise/signal ratio. I don't sing so cannot comment in this department, but with EQ I can imagine you can make it sound just like you want it to.

Nice microphone

It was just what I was looking for. I bought it years ago on the internet. I used it with a 2/4 child card and it works perfect. Recommended for percussion instruments.

Nice mic

Excellent mic. Easy to use plug and play. I use it to mic up my accoustic guitar. Seems to pick up a good natural sound from my guitar. Has a nice weight about it. The only ever mic i have used is an sm58. This does sit under, but not by that much. I am very happy, will look to buy another for vocal as in when i need another.
