My first podcast Headphones
I bought them as my first podcast headphones and they have been great so far.
Pros:
- they are very confortable to wear them for a long period of time
- very lightweight
- the sound is super ok for voice monitoring
- sound isolation is good
Cons:
- they are a bit big in size
- they need care because they might brake easy
Good value & sound (bassy)
Of course these are not to be compared to Beyerdynamics even though they mimic the look (and parts may be interchangeable externally). Cheap plastic smell (which goes away) and coiled cable that prefers to stay coiled (I use an extension instead). Comfortable fit (nice and tight!).
Sound for bass is excellent, maybe a little muddy but if you like bass you'll like these. Highs are good too but still warmed. Mids are what people call "recessed" but for some music that's how it should be!
Pad swaps help - so far only swapped pads, not foam in front or behind drivers. Original AKG K240Mk2 pleather pads evened the sound range but original Beyerdynamic EDT 770 V(elour) seem to smooth everything even more (and are so comfortable and double the value of the headphones!).
There are many headphones four or five times as costly which provide worse listening experience.
Great for the price
They sound very good and feel much more expensive than they are.
The only downside is the cable which is coiled and tight. It's like them having a short cable even though they technically do not.
Good sound for the price
Build quality is shit and the plastic stinks like cheap china toys.
its also to small for my head but the sound is awesome for the price
Impressive, great value for money
Really warm sound, very high quality especially at the price point. Really comfortable but had to knock a star off for the cable length, 3m curled cord, quite difficult to stretch out without pulling!
nice headphone for the price
i really like the price/value ratio of any superlux product, this is a good example also. the headband is a little too stiff, so it will not fall off your head, however, its pushing your ears a bit too much. sound quality its nice and detailed, but very mid forward. i would still recommend as a budget closed back headphone.
Cheap and bad quality
I would not recommend buy it, You better to spend a bit more money and buy proper beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro. Or if you don't want to spend so much money, just buy IEM KZ ZSR, it cost 2 times cheaper but sound A WAY BETTER.
CONS:
Poor sound quality
Uncomfortable
Unreliable
Prons:
Cheap
Mimicking beyerdynamic
So, don't bother to waste your money
Decent headphones but they are quite bassy. I like its brother more, the HD-660, It sounds more airy and balanced to me even though it's closed. A pro for me for the HD-330 is that you can still hear your surroundings a bit because of its open back.
Very decent headphones for the price
Bought these in end of 2014, and the left speaker died on me just now, so they lasted around 4 years. I had the Beyerdynamics DT-770 earpads for these which I highly recommend. The sound quality is superb. The comfort is OK, they clamp a lot which takes time to get used to. It gets better though over time.
I use this headphones last 3 years for my exersises at home and with Fender Mustang III V2, and with Phil Pro from Chine, and with Akai Wolf drum/bass directly, and with tube sound card - mini amplifier as and with First One keyboard directly (without ext. amplifier). I can't say nothing bad - only good
