Amazing for the money and even better after some modding!
About 3.5 years ago I was looking for some new headphones that shouldn't be too expensive since at the time I was still a student. I got a lot of recommendation for Superlux headphones for their amazing sound especially for their price. So I ordered these. I really liked them but the earcups where really stiff and uncomfortable. So I bought some replacement memory foam + cooling gel earcups on amazon and after that they were the best "gaming headphones" I ever had for those years. I am also just now coming back and write this review because I wanted to see how long they lasted since I ordered them and after near daily use on my PC (with a number of rough encounters of me forgetting to remove them before standing up) they "finally" started to show and make it audible that there is significant wear and tear at the connection piece for the adapter of the the removable cable. So if your hope for the removable cable was that you will avoid cable wear and tear then I sadly need to disappoint you since for that the headphones would need a female aux connection and not a male one that dangles on a irreplaceable very small cable. BUT if you want that for better cable management it is still very useful! All in all I liked them a lot and do recommend them especially for gamers on a budget IF they want closed over ear headphones and are willing to replace the earcups for more comfort!
Wow!
These headphones fit perfectly into my studio setup and are comfortable to wear for extended periods Sound quality is very good All in all an excellent purchase!
Super tight!
Headphones sounds good but it's not really comfortable... after a while it is almost hurtful
Cheap and useful solution for a careful use
Nice, crystal clear sound that was totally worth the cost, and an interesting choice for the brand to add a shorter jack 3.5mm close to the headphones. Using it for 2-3 months, the pros and cons are:
+++ : It's pretty functional to be able to unplug the cable extension. It's easier to pack, and gets tangled a lot less.
---- : The short cable connecting directly to the headphones wore off after some time, and it was impossible to fix, even though the headphones remained intact.
good headphones
Cheaper alternatives got dropped from the table once and broke. Had to buy new ones and decide to go with a little pricier ones.
Comes in with shorter and longer cables that are quite handy. Headband feels kind of cheap and I don't really like them. Then again they don't bother that much so in this price range it's not that big of a deal
A 'big bang' for the buck!
I bought these for home rehearsals. The sound proofing and quality has exceeded my expectations so I also use them for post-production jobs on the go.
Build quality is also good and included cables plus adapter make this a very good 'budget' choice.
Budget studio
Good value for price. Has a good frequancy range. I find the mid range a bit off comapared with other phones. Well worth buying overall good sound.
Comprimises
Lots of fragile seeming plastic but the headphones are tougher than they look.
When first worn they do GRAB your head but they will change within a week of mild use,
A little uncomfortable after long usage (4+ hours)
Sound is amazing for mixing audio, I'm switching from headphones that were 4x the price that came better recommended when purchased and they cant hold a candle to these
Does the job
I have been using these as an output for my mixing desk for my guitar and vocals. They are very comfy and carry sound the well. Good for a cheap pair of headphones - my only concern would be that they look like they might break easily if you are not careful.
Good for the price
The volume may not be as high as other high end headphones, but good quality.
