Does the job

There may be a lot better headsets around - but if you put good sounds in - then you get some good sounds out !!!

It'a all about that bass

I purchased this headphone to monitor recording outdoors and for video editing. I'm not afraid of dropping it, or that my children could easily damage it. It think it could work for drummers and DJs too. It served me well for 2 years, but now I go for something better, like a HD25. The sound is rather bass heavy, which is good in many cases, just not for EQing. It's not adjustable, for my ears it's painful after 30 min, probably my head is too big.

Pros: robust, light, cheap, noise isolation

Cons: sound, ergonomy

For the price, it's probably the best in certain applications and occasional use.

Cheap headphones

Bougth as an extra pair of headphones for a studio.

Sound is not very good but they are useable. Just don't directly compare them to higher end headphones and you?ll be fine. Good to use for drummers for a click track or similar uncritical circumstances. Not recommended for mixing.

Pros: Cheap and sturdy.

Cons: Not the best sound but who cares.

superlux is good

I have a few Superlux mics and bugs and i like them. These cans a solid fully enclosed and cover the ears completely. they sound nice although, the bass frequencies are a bit quiet, but nothing that can't be corrected by pulling up the bass frequencies (EQ) nevertheless, they produce really clear, well balanced sound. these are what I would call 'Old School'. Highly recommend. Great value for money!

Great budget headphones

Fantastic retro look, very good build quality and good sound for its price. Reccomended.

Not bad sound for the price - pleasantly pleased with the sound quality

Pleased with the price and the sound is fairly good too. Good bass response on the low-end. Only thing (as you might expect) the plastic on the ears is hard so if you use them for long periods of time your ears will hurt! Good value for money though.

Good gear!

fantastic budget headphone, solid, reliable and great sounding, good depth of sound, good balanced e.q. signature, bassy and warm with bright highs, "commercial" sounding, with good isolation. You wont get anything from philips, sony or sennheiser that can beat this sound quality at this price point, and i love the retro design - I LOVE the battleship grey colour! At this price there is nothing even close. Highly highly recommended.

All the superlux products are fantastic value for money, and in fact the way they are no nonsense no frills products that have an austere design is very appealing to me personally,

Very good isolation, decent tone and comfort

These headphones are very very good at shutting out outside noise. The sound is good but I feel favours the bass, so not ideal as a neutral monitor. The fit is ok but becomes uncomfortable over time. After an hour, the pressure of those unadjustable pads on top of my head is unpleasant. Pretty good, overall.

The strap is not adjustable and presses hard on your ears causing discomfort after a while. A slight bit of adjustment would take care of this and make this headset very effective.
