It just works, easy and simple.

Used on Clone Hero with Windows and Linux, both worked flawlessly, no disconnects, no input delay. Unknown delay with VST's.

An old keyboard info DAW

I was given an old keyboard (well, not vintage yet) and this cable let me put my playing into DAW. Works well, good quality.

It's a MIDI interface, it works

Works well both on a Mac and Linux. One handy feature is both plugs can function as either a MIDI in or out - useful if you want to drive two synths. However the only small downside is the plugs are labelled on the underside in small black letters - not handy to see which is which if you've already plugged them in!

Works with Strymon Pedals

I bought this to connect my Strymon pedals to my computer. This cable works for this purpose and is exactly as expected.

Plug and play

Plug and play, nothing more to do (on Mac, no idea about Windows).

Cable and connectors are not the highest quality, but should not cause any problems.

Does the job well

I use this to connect a laptop to a General MIDI sound module, and for that it works well. The interface is detected straight away by Windows 10 with no intervention and the outputs/inputs presented themselves in Cakewalk with no problems. There was no detectable latency between operations on the laptop and sound coming out of the GM module. Both plugs can function as input or output so you can technically have two outputs and it shows as two different devices - very versatile. Quality looks OK, there's not much to it at the end of the day. It's an inexpensive item, cheap enough to buy two and have a spare. Couldn't find anything to dislike about this simple but effective interface.

No setup required. Just connected and it works without problems.

Amazin price

This is so small and affordable it will be stupid not to own.

The manual says each of the midi ends can do in and out.

I found that mine can only do output on the end with number “2” on it.

So only one of them are an output.

I haven’t tried the other end as an input because I do not have use for it.

Overall great price, great quality. So much value for the money.

I haven’t seen anything like this, even the small size and price can’t be found anywhere else.
