Marshall sound

this is a great module if youre looking for a great Marshall sound I have paired it with TW/DLX In the SYN2 rack for the clean sounds

beware, it's a marshall killer

you can basically dial any marshall on it such as plexi, jcm800, or hi-gain marshalls. top notch quality from a renowned amp builder Steve Fryette. i use it beside ultra-lead in syn-2 through ps-100.

Incredible sounding preamp

This is probably the most inspiring thing I've played. I am using the Syn-2 and it also helps that I'm using a Fryette 2/50/2

The gain structure is amazing, unlike anything I've tried - it's musical distortion that somehow stays "clean", sparkly, very dynamic and with huge headroom.

The best thing about this amp is it will reflect the attitude you play with. So there is nothing to hide behind, but if you lean into it, it will bring out your real expression. What I think, even playing an open chord with my settings dialled in, and letting it ring out - "that's definitely "my" sound.

I only take one star off because for my taste I would prefer a bit more clean headroom in the green channel, and a bit more travel in the gain knobs before it starts to break up. But that's a matter of taste and might also be something I adjust to and learn to get the most out of (I've heard that this has HiWatt "DNA" and that's one amp I am not familiar with at all).

Sounds Great

This is one of the best and most versatile preamps i have tried, From clean to breakup to crunch to hi gain.
