T-Rex Creamer
Reverb Pedal for Electric Guitar

Latest User Reviews
Beautiful sounding reverb.
Many different sound options, sounds good all around. Seems to be built very well. I have used it for six gigs and more practices I care to count. Has worked like a charm every time.
Great!
This is a great reverb
A good reverb
It does "basic reverb" things but it sounds good and with wide ranges, it is well built and well priced
Great simple reverb
I have 2 amps a blues junior and a solid state copy of one by Session, both good amps both have same reverb tank which is fine except the reverbs tail is a bit too long for my liking. I only use reverb as an always on effect and the TREX is perfect for this. It allows me to have an amp style reverb but able to control the decay and tone. The reverb knob mixes the effect with you guitar tone so beware that if you turn the knob above 11 or 12 you will start to drop a bit of volume as more reverb takes over the tone. You can compensate this with a clean boost pedal. There are 3 types of reverb Room, Spring and Hall. My favourite is the Spring as it has that bit of splash you want on a single coil guitar and its better than the amps built in verbs. The Room is very usable as well and especially when you want just a bit of the effect. The Hall is ok but dont expect Ambient shoe gazing sounds to come from it or neither do it do the drip you would want for surf music but it does get you in the ball park for that twang with the spring setting. Like I said I bought it to use instead of my amps built in ones. So over all I am happy with it another bonus is its small size but not so small that it tips over when you stomp it. The switch feels nice and there is no audible click in your speaker when turned on I think because it has a buffer in in I'm not sure. If it does have a buffer it does not effect the tone to me Its my first Trex pedal and I will get more based on the quality of this one.
Great and Simple Reverb!
Having a nice lush reverb with a ton of options and modulation for ambience is great and can be very inspiring. However, sometimes you just need something simple, easy to use and that sounds great. That is exactly the realm of the T-Rex Creamer!
I use it as an "always-on" reverb for my Orange Rocker Terror using the Room setting and I also use it to play surf music using the incredible good spring mode. The Hall mode is more spacious and sounds great to play intros and some ambience, however, there are other reverb pedals more suitable for ambience and crazy stuff.
In general, all modes works great, the spring is my favourite. The "tone" control works more like a mix control and blends your dry signal which is a nice feature for a pedal in this price tag. It also has a nice buffer that enhances your signal in a very clear way.
-Pros:
-- Three reverb types
-- Great Spring reverb
-- simple of use
-- can be subtle or full blow surf madness
-- great buffer
-- "tone" blends dry and wet signals
-- small footprint
-- affordable
-Cons:
-- not much
-- it is made of metal but feels a bit thin metal it is my only complain
You can find better-sounding reverb pedals but not at this price. It easily keeps head to head with pedals twice its price and it has the advantage of no complicated menus and options. I highly recommend this one.
fantastic for its price
This is a really easy to use, fantastic sounding reverb pedal with a good range of possible rounds. It's really easy to use and a great "beginner" pedal if, like me, you're looking to start expanding your sound and experiment with your fx loop. Sounds great with a range of guitars and in a great variety of situations (from drone distortion for slow jams to sweet melancholy blues solos.). Highly recommended.
Easy reverb pedal
As said, very easy to use and for the needs I have it's quite versatile. The sound and effects are nice. I only put 3 stars on quality because the box feels a bit cheap and the footswitch is loose, I don't know if it's a defect or it's built like this... but it works fine!
Good basic, low cost reverb pedal
I needed a simple reverb to improve the sound on a 5W/8" valve combo for bedroom use. This pedal exceeds my needs - and expectations, at 73 euros.
Pros:
- sound quality.
- usable at all knob settings in all three modes (hall, spring, room)
- overall build quality.
Cons:
- battery operation is difficult - changing battery requires a hex key (supplied).
- rubber legs will probably fall off.
Simplicity wins
As a mildly reverb user this is all what you want: no patches, no lcds, just three usable sounds easy to dial in and you’re immediately playing
I think Creamer is a quite reasonably choice at this price. Analog and very simple to use. Once you’ve selected your reverb type, with REVERB knob you can adjust the mix of wet/dry sound, with the DECAY knob you can adjust the “size” of your reverberating space. Finally, with the TONE knob you can fine-tune the character of your reverberated sound.
Pros:
- nice warm room reverb. Usually I'm not a fan of room reverbs but this one is quite enjoyable.
- analog bypass: you get dry signal + reverb, not all your signal mixed together with reverb.
- springy spring reverb... other reverbs does not have that distinct spring sound. It's the one I prefer.
Cons:
- it seems that somehow there's a signal amplifier so your signal sounds louder just going through this box, even in bypass mode (I placed it at the end of the chain, after the delay, in the effects loop of my amp). This is ok if you use this pedal only at home and if you use this pedal always on, not good at all on stage. I thought there was something wrong with my effect chain, but I found out dozens of reviews saying the same (unfortunately I didn't see them before purchasing).
