I do not have too much experience with different tubes, but this set sounds better than any stock tubes that i got with amp. If you are trying to get a bit more clean and bassy tone this set is one to go.

This is inexpensive, very basic and reliable tube in my opinion. I've used one of these for a little while now in my full tube 6 watts guitar combo amplifier. It's been working flawlessly and sounds quite pleasing. I have heard and read that JJ brand is among the best of new tube manufacturers. I think that's very true at least with this particular tube.
