Poor cymbals

Don't play much of drums, but when I do, I use it for rock.

The quality of the drums is OK, nothing to add, not so good the heads. But the cymbals...they just suck. If you want to play drums buy ones with better cymbals or uppgrade your drums with better ones.

Perfect set

I bought it as a beginner and it has everything you need, and of course you can change the drum heads latter if you need to but it sounds great with the stock ones too.

The cymbals are also great. The drum throne is a bit difficult to get to stay at a certain height but it's easy to solve.

In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Great value for money

I bought these as my 1st drum set. Great value for money for the quality of the set. I would appreciate though a better drum throne, if you are a big guy like me you should consider getting a seperate drum throne. Other than that it is a great choice for someone who doesn't want to spend a lot to sound great.

I needed a basic drum kit to be used solely for rehearsals by the drummer on my project, so budget was minimal. The build is of good quality and the hardware/stands are sturdy . The foil finish looks awesome apart from the seam on the bass drum (which is at the bottom so it's not that noticeable) . If tuned properly and with a bass drum pillow you can achieve a great tone ! I will also use E rings to eliminate tom and snare overtones. Not so impressed with the sound of the cymbals included but hey they are great for rehearsing with ! So if you are looking for a cheep entry level drum kit at a reasonable price , this Tama kit is the way to go !
