Tiny bass monster

The bam200 from TC Electronic is a small amp with a huge sound. It pushes 200w with an incredible tone. With you're a kind of bassist that don't need so many knobs on your amp this is the one for you.

Great for use with a Kemper

I use it with my unpowered Kemper and a 2x12 cab. I highly recommend it.

Excellent

Good build quality. Not too many switches to play with, but does exactly as much as promised.

Tiny, powerful, good value

I'd rather have paid another €10 and have the case a tiny bit larger and have Speakon and aux in.

Otherwise, perfect.

Put it in your pocket...

This is a little cracker! I use it for pub gigs with 1x15 cab and it pushes more than enough air. Actually can carry it in my coat pocket. Has every feature I need and is top quality materials. Delivery was prompt.

Powerful and Portable

Incredible little (very little!) bass head with great warm tones and plenty of power for home practice and small gigs. Being quiet in operation as there is no fan is a nice bonus, especially at home. Fits in a gig bag pocket with room to spare. I love using it as a headphone amp - no need to have a cabinet connected - just some headphones! A solid unit with smooth controls. Superb value!

Amazing Product for this Price

I ended up buying this as I was searching for a good DI box, to be honest and I am very happy the purchase. Of course, I am now using it as a pre-amp and meanwhile added a good speaker to it. :-)

Great micro amp

I bought this as a practice/small gig/backup amp.

One thing worth noting is how quiet the fan is - at "bedroom volumes" you can barely hear it whirring. I don't know if the fan speeds up when the amp gets warmer - I suspect it does - but as a home practice amp it has been perfect in this respect.

Needless to say at this size and price you are not going to get loads of features but all the basics are there. It's a shame they had to use a 1/4" jack for the speaker output but it's not the end of the world.

I can't comment on whether it is as loud as other 200w amps as I've not yet had a chance to crank it up fully. Likewise I've only had it a few weeks so too early to tell if it will be reliable long-term but I've heard nothing to suggest it won't be.

All in all a great little amp at a good price.

Great simple small amp

Small, simple, transparent with solid power for dirt cheap, exactly what I was looking for. I bought it mostly as an upright amp, but it works great for bass guitar too. Suprisingly well built too. The only con apart from the low power is that the cooling fan tends to get quite loud when pushing the amp more. For the price I have nothing to complain about.
