TC Electronic Cab

Fantastic product, massive sound and so easy to transport!

Very handy cab with clearly readable sound.

Bought this cab for small gigs, in order to be able take all my stuff on me. Ideal for small ocasion or home playing, works well as stage monitor for bass player with output via XLR. Do not expect super lows from this cab, but it reads clearly, with no distortions, my 5 str. bass.

Probably will be a nice pair with 1*15' cab.

Clever design, light weight and a great sound

I was looking to cut down the weight of my bass rig as I get older and my back starts to ache ! Did a lot of research into light weight cabs and the tc electronic BC208 2 x 8 cab kept coming up. Ordered one and was blown away by the sound for a 2 x 8 cab. Very balanced and articulated sound with surprisingly good bass response. So impressed I bought another one and the 4 X 8 set up is even better ! The sound changes significantly added another cabinet of the same type. Massive bonus having a great sounding rig which I can carry in one hand - just what I was looking for .

Only for practicing

Like the title said. I am returning sadly and getting a 210 or 410 from Harley Benton. They may also be lower end quality but for my needs ( jam with 2 guitars and drums+ small gigs) are going to be perfect.

Portable cabinet with clean sound

I use this little cabinet with a TC BAM200 head for a bass guitar as well as for Novation Bass Station II (analogue synth). This lets me think that it would work well with any low frequencies sound. I tried this also with an electronic drum kit and low frequencies were projected very well. One more thing to try will be to use it as an amplification for a bass drum.

Hard to beat at this price point!

Good for practicing, rehearsals, and small trio/quartet type jazz gigs. Enough depth for my tastes, tend to have some bass rolled off on my amp and still reasonable bottom end. Reproduces highs (high mids) well to a point, though not really hifi. A good match for my BQ250. Nothing seems desperately lacking and 8s give a nice tight punchlines. Good and loud but nice and clean with it. Best part is the portability: single handed carry over any sensible distance. At this price point hard to beat!

One of the best buys ever!

I have always wanted a bass cab, never had one in my whole life, although I have played with quite a few throughout the years!

I use it in conjuction with a TC Electronic BQ500 head, a Yamaha TRBX305 bass and a Line6 HX Stomp for effects. So far, I have only rehearsed with it.

If you're wondering if those 8 inch speakers can deliver enough low end, the answer is: Yes! they can! And even more!

The sound is clear, punchy, very responsive, but also warm and pleasing, wouldn't ask more from a bass cab this size.

Pros:

+ Very light and comfortable to handle and carry around

+ Sounds full, crispy and warm with plenty of volume and low end

+ Comes with a very comfy hand grip built-in on the top

Cons:

- Can't really find any

Overall, a great cab for its price, I'd say don't worry about the size of these speakers, they can play really loud and deliver loads of low end. Couldn't be happier actually!

Sounds great. Plenty of volume and tone. Couldn't ask for more.

Just what I was looking for

Excellent small format cab with great response and all the power handling I need for a small rig. High quality build and the Turbosound drivers used have massively more power handling than the enclosure needs. Very portable, very good.

Value for the money.
