It is really a wow product. It introduces a shade of magic into your music, be it accompanement or soloing. Build quality deserves a separate remark--it is great. And the old-school form factor is something to adore. While the price of this pedal is under 100 Euro, go grab it.

Signal drop???

I read people complaining about signal dropping and thought surely it can't be so bad? But it's worse. The effect is OK but the fore mentioned is a deal breaker. Hard to believe that TC E. would think this is OK to mass produce?

Great pedal with one flaw...

Great build quality, great tone HOWEVER when using this pedal in your FX loop, there is a noticeably large drop in volume. This may be corrected by using it IN FRONT of the amp, because of the gain staging. I mean, let's be honest, you probably won't want a shimmer verb on distortion anyway so it shouldn't affect the tone too much to notice.

Great shimmer effect, sounds beautiful. Easy to work with and balance.

Overall I do recommend this pedal, as long as the buyer keeps in mind the volume drop.

Great Shimmer Reverb for the Price!

This pedal successfully recreates the shimmer reverb effect that makes my instruments and synths sound LUSH! With 4 parameters to control, it gives every user the ability to fine tune the effect to their needs.

Failed one trick pony

Expected way more of this one, the shimmer leaves no impression at al when you ever tried the specular tempus by GFI.

Shimmer is pretty silent too. One of the least interesting ones of the cheap new TC pedals.

Effect pedal also great for Synths

This is a wonderful sound effect pedal, with great sounds and easy to control. Not only for guitar but also a great way to upgrade the sound coming from a Moog device. Even though the Moog sound in itself is indistinguishable it sometimes needs some elevation. Using the TC Electronic Fluorescence Shimmer Reverb you sometimes can almost touch the heaven.

Well made reverb pedal

This is a nice and solid pedal it does what you would expect but the one thing that irked me was when you turn the shimmer all the way down i thought that would turn it off and just leave the reverb. that isn't the case even with it turned all the way down the shimmer is still present though low. that's my only complaint with this pedal. otherwise it works perfectly fine
