tc electronic The Prophet Digital Delay

Lovely .... lovely.... lovel....love..... lov .....lo....l

Right.

Great delay as far as I can tell.

I'm a bass player predominantly, but got this for my guitar rig.

Does a great job as far as I can tell. Nice features, easy to use.

I recently did a refit of my bass rig and added it to that. I'm loving it. I use it sparingly, popping it on at the end of songs with sudden stops its always fun. Using it for bass & drum sections sometimes. I never solo so I haven't used it for that. (NEVER DO A BASS SOLO! EVER!)

Built like a tank.

BTW- I've got a bunch of the pedals from this line and all of them come with screws that are SUPER tight. Be warned, if you want to fit 9v batteries you'll find it really hard to get them open the 1st time around. A well fitting screwdriver & patience will sort it. They're fine after that.

Max ratings

I believe that someone might consider my ratings excessive, but this device at this price deserves it.

Very nice digital delay

This is a quality digital delay. Very versatile & easy to get the echo/repeat effect you're looking for.

I would recommend.

Mainly used for a bit of slap back.

I mainly play blues/ mellow rock with this bad boy and it serves that purpose perfectly. I have it on constantly to give a bit of slap back delay. For this it is great. It is a chunky pedal that takes up quit a bit of space on the pedalboard that is for sure.

Best budget delay

Is it as good as the Flashback? Na

Is it awesome for 40€? Absolutely

I love this TC range of pedals

i own a lot of the TC pedals in this format. and they sound great on guitar but where i end up using them most is on synths

Waves of Crystal

This pedal is magnificent. It reproduces and flutters and twinkles depending what signal you send. It does everything I need a delay to do and looks cute too

Worth every penny!

This is one of the best pedals I’ve ever used or owned. It punches far above its weight. Get it!!

excellent low cost delay pedal

I needed simple digital delay at reasonable price, just to spice up solos on high gain. This delay pedal is not coloring the sound, does not "eat" highs, and it can offer much more than I need, with relatively long delay (up to 1300 ms). It is possible to get various effects from it, from reverb like sound to some psychedelic and "space" sounds.

Pedal is also built like a tank, with big knobs that you can adjust even with your foot while playing guitar.

My recomendation.

Great for the price

I was looking for a cheap delay pedal that had simple features. Most people would go for Behringer pedals but since I already had used TC Electronics I just went for this one and yeah, nothing much to say, It does the job. Of course watch some review videos on youtube before you buy this so you wouldn't be dissapointed of the sound but other than that it's a good buy for the price. The only thing is that this pedal has input/output and power supply sockets on the top, so you might have to rearrange your pedalboard or rethink your patch cables
