Cosmos is an excellent whisperer of sound suggestions... either quiet or thounderous ones, depends mostly by you. It is more apt at landscapes, ambient, textures and... obviously cosmos :) Easy to use, somewhat quite impredictable (but you improve with practice) and doesn't save nothing, so be prepared. I would treat it more like an acoustic instrument than an electronic effect, that's probabily the best way to approach it. It is very well built, pots and switches gives back a good tactile feeling. Processed sound is of very good quality too and doesn't introduces clicks, pops, buzz etc. that given the start/stop nature of what you feed into it it is quite a feat for any electronics. And it doesn't get boring, I would buy it again without doubt.

Really glad I bought this pedal. Besides using it for vocals, I have played about with acoustic guitar, shaker and cahone. It's really effective and simple. I am a totally technophobe, so if I can do it, anyone can! I took it to an open mic last night, and everybody wanted to have a go! Highly recommended. I'm buying the Seinnheiser E 835 mic with the magic button next so I can work it from the mic. Perfect for when I'm in heels!! On a side note, my drummer not only stepped on it but spilt his pint on it, and it was totally fine!

Fantastic unit 10 stars. One of the best echo units I have ever owned and I have owned a lot since the 1970s includinbg the old tape echo units! I use it for sax directly from a bell bug mic. The selling factor was that it uses XLR connectors. You can just use it in-line by connecting straight into a mic XLR cable on stage. It has every feature you could want from an echo unit including an analogue replication button, tap echo, sound on sound, 2 perfect pre-set slap back echos, pre-set timed echos and user set echo from micro short to looooooong. Pre-amp gain control, infinite repeats, excellent mix option, swell and so on. BUT, no battery option which, to me is no big deal, because the power supply is all you really need and it won't need changing half way through a set ... this is for...

This box is great fun. It works really well for what it’s intended for - desktop jamming at home or on the road. It’s not really built for stage use. That said you might be able to find a use for it live. I haven’t spent much time with the vocoder, but it works pretty well, if you wanna sound like a robot or Imogen Heap/Jacob Collier The limitations are: -no presets, so you need to set everything. This is fine, but if you’re using the harmoniser, setting the key is a bit finicky. - secondary controls using the sliders mean that glancing at the device doesn’t necessarily reflect how it’s set - harmoniser can be set to all 12 chromatic tones, but only major or minor. And as far as I can tell, there’s no difference in how it handles relative scales...
