Very good sub. It is a small subwoofer, but really powerful.

It is quality built, the sounds is greater. I heard him sound in an apartment, a room about 30mp2 and sounds extraordinary. It is not my sub, it is a friend of mine, but definitely I will buy one for my self.

So, I will give him 5 ☆☆☆☆☆

Great sub, powerful for its size

Bought this for a cafe install with 4x Achat 104's. Very pleased with the response and clarity of the system, even at long distances from the speakers. Only downside is the sub level adjust doesn't seem to go high enough when compared to 4 midtop speakers. Would definitely recommend for an install job or situation where bass response is nice to have but not a necessity

Very good price performance ratio

Decent sound, with minor care it can be used outdoor as well.

However, a more robust power source for the amplifier is recommended.

Overall, together with the box pro Achat 104 satellites can beat systems twice as expensive.

GREAT SOUND FOR THE SIZE AND THE PRICE!

The sub has an astonishing measure of power for its size, don't let the size fool you, it will knock the shoe of your feet.

Awesome sub at this cost. I am utilizing it for a long time now and with no issue.

I would thoroughly recommend this unit, good bang for your buck

Purchased for some jazz gigs..

We needed a small system for events with a piano (mic'd with DPA 4099s), a small drum kit (mic'd with a D4 in kick + an SM81 overhead) and a female vocalist (using a KSM9/QLX-D system).

Mixer is normally an Allen & Heath SQ5/6 and we have been amazed by the results from the system.

The band plays to around 80 people seated in theatre style and we love how the system not only complements the audio, but is also desecrate enough to not be seen!.

It took a few weeks to arrive but it's great

It was out of stock initially and took 3 weeks to dispatch. When it arrived I couldn't use it as I needed to get some 1/4 inch leads to RCA to take the signal from my desk into it. I've ordered some to arrive. It's lovely though. Thanks

Great sound or the size and price. Have used it with 204 tops for semi acoustic 4 piece (percussion, double bass, guitars and vocals) concerts in indoor situations and have been very pleased with results. Also suitable for keyboard amplification and monitoring. Might not be quit that suitable for loud rock bands, but in terms of portability, price and sound output it is hard to wish for something more

Amazing Speakers

I stock a few of these and they are out working at least 3 times a week.

You get amazing output from them and they are remarkably punchy and tight for an 8" Sub

The weight is fantastic and they are well balances for transport. Only downside is the tree nuts which hold the wheels on. These vibrate loose after a time if you don't check them and the result is the wheel falling off and the tree nut diapering inside. This could happen to any sub.

Highly Recommended.... The whole Achat range is superb and great value.

Good small system

we're using this for a small church room with a young band; crowd is around 30. Paired with the recommended tops this really is a good little system for next to no money. We;re driving this one pretty hard but it will (just) cut it over a drum kit.

We're going to buy two more sets for the church later this year to use as sound for acoustic-type stuff. Yes, we could buy something better for a lot more money but seriously, these sound pretty good, they're very discrete and they cost very little.

The bundled stands and cables work out very good value too.

It's not the best you can buy, but it's incredibly good value for at this price point.

A great bit of "bottom end"

I bought this sub as part of a package deal with two tops and all the cabling and stands. It has been perfect for the two applications I have used it for - solo acoustic gigs and as a vocal PA for small band gigs. The sub has a surprising amount of power for its size and coped comfortable with an audience of around 50 people. It added plenty of body when I put my acoustic guitar through it. It is wonderfully compact, sitting comfortably on a car seat. It's also handy that it has RCA inputs alongside the jack sockets, as this allows me to plug in my iPod to keep the music going for breaks/packing up time. I like the fact that the sockets are recessed so they don't get bumped when it is being transported. The construction is hardy and isn't showing many signs of wear and tear despite considerable use. I would thoroughly recommend this unit - it offers a very good quality/price ratio.
