the box pro DSP 110
Active Full-Range Speaker

Very Good!
Bought these as I grew tired of carrying 15" active cabs (Mackie Thump Mk1) around, and they do the job (vocals and keyboard in a pub band) just as well whilst being much smaller and a fair bit lighter.
Wasn't sure if I'd get away with 10" bass driver, but no problem at all. In fact I was shocked on first use to have to turn the bass down for the keyboards.
Time will tell if they're reliable, but first impressions really good.
Obviously not top-of -the-range at this price, but fantastic for my needs , and for anyone on a budget.
Very powerful speaker
I was looking for lightweight speakers - easy to transfer mostly for small home parties and events (I play as a DJ mostly Techno and Tech House) so I decided to get two DSP 110 (as I already have also two DSP 115).
The sound on the DSP 110 is very good. Balanced, clear and it can get very loud.
Straight out of the box, I needed more bass so I did two adjustments from the settings of the speaker:
- Selected the "DJ" mode
- Added +6db on "low" frequencies
With these settings the sound is perfect.
Blow my mind!
After having my mind blown with the box pro dsp 112, I thought I'd try the 110 to see if it could happen again. And well, the simple answer is YES! Amazing sound box!! I just can't believe the volume, tone, and pressure that comes out of this thing. I was planning on using this for practice at the rehearsal space but I've decided to make up a small pa, these 10 inch tops and pyrit 12 inch subs! I'm patiently waiting for my dsp 108 to arrive, for what I'm sure will be another mind blowing experience!
Very good speaker
Pros:
-Budget friendly
-Very loud with no distortion
-Very light
Cons:
-Plastic build
-Nobs are not very strong
top top
very nice speaker fits every scene, as good as monitors as PA!
Amazing for the price
I bought a pair of these after purchasing the DSP 112. A great all round speaker! Quality sound with a punch, if your budget is limited, these will perform well in a variety of settings.
An outstanding speaker at this pricepoint.
I've used pretty much every speaker on the market at one time or another, over the years; from Bose to FBT Vertus; RCF TT25, to EV SX300, to KV2, so I like to think that I know a good (and a bad) speaker, when I hear one.
I had read good things about these and a friend needed a pair of speakers, on a tight budget, for his small bar in Spain.
I thought we'd give these a go, having tried and disliked many other speakers at this sort of price point. (Behringer, Mackie Thumps and the likes).
I wasn't just surprised by the quality of these: I was astounded that a speaker for so little money could sound so good. Obviously I only installed them in a relatively small venue, (100 capacity), but they had so much clarity with so much headroom. So much so that I took them out to try in a couple of larger venues and they more than held their own.
Don't get me wrong, I still prefer my current speaker of choice, (RCF 725a, which have served me well for a few years) but I would recommend these to anyone on a tight budget.
Great Speakers
I use these for DJing and house parties and they give a good punch. They have a slight hiss but when you play the music it covers the hiss up.
They are very good speakers for what they are worth, highly recommended.
Small cab, big sound
I bought this after seeing a review on a DJ forum, showing how good it is.
In action it performs very well with a clean, crisp sound, even at high volume.
Speaking of volume, it is loud, comparing favourably to a lot of 12" cabs that cost twice as much and making my 10" ecler Philos look like a monitor.
In short, it's a fantastically capable speaker, especially bearing in mind the price.
Quality product
Great sound quality for reasonable price compared to other top brands
