Okay for the price.

This speaker is well enough constructed to withstand the rigours of a gigging band, but there is a compromise due to the price. Sound quality is average and a bit disappointing.I use this as a stage monitor, and it serves this purpose okay but I wouldn?t consider this for a main PA.

Perfect speaker for this price

If you need a loud speaker with good sound and you can not afford expensive one, this is great solution. Perfect for monitor or small audience.

Value for money

Better than expected. Very loud. I use them as main PA on small parties. light weighted and durable

Can't beat the price. Super quality to price ratio. Premium quality bass.

Great for the money!

Bought this. Intended use: a live event (a small gig in a small pub and as monitor for another bigger gig). This speaker held itself really well on stage, along with a bigger PA system I had from before (2 215 fullrange passive speakers).

The clarity is good, up to big volumes. Even when the input signal is clipping, the speaker knows what to do and handles the job well. At higher volumes I have noticed increased treble, which is a bit annoying to the ear, but with a slight EQ adjustment from the mixer or the DSP on the back of the speaker, all goes well.

I totally recommend this if you don't have a ton of money to throw at a PA system, but not only if you're on a budget. This is a great speaker for any budget.

Also, if you don't buy a B-Stock, don't forget to leave the speaker with music for a while to break it in - I seem to have forgotten this small detail, that's why I've been hearing that harsh treble back then, but now after breaking the cone in and having it play music for a while, everything sounds fine and in place!

After a couple of days of using it at home to play backing tracks while recording, I found out that the integrated DSP has some weird computing, because sometimes the sound fluctuates in volume and frequencies - for example it might cut bass once in a while. This happens after two hours of this speaker being on, so it must be something related to the heat, maybe?

Price equal to quality

I've bought two of these. Compared them with EV ZLX 15P and EV's sounds much better and even has more power, though in specification DSP112 says otherwise. I've read someone's review, taht DSP 112 are equal to EV ZLX 12p - this is not true. I would say so - if you need something cheap for medium quality sound - then OK, otherwise it's not worth even that sum. Clarity of sound is very bad, not so powerfull as says in specification. Other features are OK.

Great speakers

Purchased four of these speakers to use as monitors but have found myself using them also a FOH speakers as the quality is amazing from them. The DSP is very easy to use and the power these little box?s have on board is amazing. I have recommended them to a lot of people and everyone that hears them comments on how good they sound, I will be purchasing more of these .

All good but the delivery

Sounds great and has many features but unfortunately it came with a rather large dent in the side of it and one of the prongs of the kettle lead was bent. Sending back but definitely want another one.

Great power for the price

I have bought these speakers after comparing to FBT and EV. 600W RMS gives a great kick. Deep Bass makes it sound really good. Electronic display and built in equalizer makes it so handy. Can be used with ipodonly or mic on the wedding receptions or on a conferences as free standing mic+ speaker only. Delighted with them. Using it as a DJ gear on remote parties, also as a wedding receptions background music speakers.

I recently bought four of theses DSP 112

The Loudspeakers is very lightweight, beautiful and handy.

The speaker's sound is 1/1 like EV ZLX 12P

There is only one minus

In the silence you can hear a little Background noise

and speaker front metal cover make a bad noise on the bass .
