the box pro DSP 18 Sub
A very very nice sub Box, especially when use with the DSP 15s
Mediocre subwoofer
As a band that has PA of 2x 1000w speakers we lacked lower frequencies and bought one of these to fill in. In terms of features, it only has a volume knob in the back which is I guess the minimum. Also it lacks 6.35mm input, only has an xlr input. It is fairly big, but has 2 solid handles so its fairly easy to handle. When it comes to the sound quality of the subwoofer, it does the job for us, it is definitely loud enough, but the sound quality is just okay. Overall, we are very happy to have an option to buy an okay subwoofer in this price range, it serves its purpose!
About the box pro DSP 18 Sub
In first Time of use sound looks like hard, not soft and Deep. Frequency a little bit too high.
But after one concert speaker membrane take right position and gets easyer moving. And now sound was very good. I realy like it.
Bass
Good deep overall bass indoors. Especially powerful around 39 hz (E Flat) when used outdoors.
Really good base for that price
For that Price a really good and powerfull offer. It's losses a little bit of uums when it goes to the maximum power but still really usable.
Good loudspeaker, very bad quality cabinet
Good quality amplifier and loudspeaker, but the box is made of very very poor quality soft material.
The wooden screws that hold the front grill and the rear amplifier panel are no longer needed after the first unscrewing. The screws holding the feet tend to tear out of the soft material of the box.
Definitely pro sound
Overall very good and take alot if needed
I get a good price-quality ratio.
The speaker proved to be very high quality in the live performance of the band, when we take the price, I get a good price-quality ratio.
Sound Quality
Good frequency response, maximum rated peak power is overrated, but fills out the room really well. Using with a pair of JBL EON G2 active tops, and goes along really well.
Superb for this cheap sub
bought 2x dsp18 and 2x dsx 115, together they work like a dream, relatively cheap setup, but heeey how fun they are. using in livingroom, and the odd rental gig. livingroom is loud and fun, at a gig, they are just insane for the price point. even other sound guys ask what brand it is, and gets chocked by the prise /performance.
If in doubt, just buy, you won`t regret it
