Medium quality.

The speaker is intended mainly for mid tones and vocals. What kind of quality bass can't be expected, and as they wrote before me, it's good for vocals, speech. Do not expect from this one for home theater or any kind of hifi sound. There is a lack of softness in the sound. It's more for noise only without sound quality. The quality of the plastic is very good.

Internal crossover incorrect connection !!!

Important!!! Overall a good product. Crossover (12 dB/Oct low pass filter, 6 dB/Oct high pass filter with attenuation and tweeter protection), but the polarity of the tweeter needs to be reversed !!! I simulated the circuit with the "XSim" crossover designer software.

Very good value for money

Use: mainly home for rehearsals and the occasional small gig. Uusally on top of 1x15 subs. Power amp Behringer KM750.

Good points: Power rating 300w continuous. Solidly made, very good frequency response for a 12 inch full range. Loud enough for me, and good clarity at almost all volumes (not when running too quiet, which is not what a sound reinforcement speaker should be doing anyway).

Bad points: the monitor conversion feet are a bit feeble in comparison to the massive construction of the cabinets. They are pretty heavy, which might be an issue for some, not me.

General: I like these a lot, as you can tell from the rating. Great punchy sound clear sound and look to be as tough as you could ask. Now to be a little contentious if I may, and for what it's worth. The user manual says "The amps maximum RMS output power should be 50% above the power handling capacity of the connected speakers." I've been playing live for almost 40 years and my experience of bits of cone flying about and melted coils and crossovers, even with amps and cabinets exactly matched in power rating, tells me that this is the exact opposite of what I will ever do. I have had overpowered speakers fail within minutes. I always try to have at least 50% headroom in the speakers. The last cone failure was on a pair of full range tops rated at 250w continuous being driven by a 200w RMS amp. The argument is that doing it my way can overload the amplifier, but I have never once had a solid state amp fail or even shut down from thermal protection.

Conclusion, buy these speakers, they're really good.

Solid equipment. A great buy. Haven't had a moments trouble through multiple uses over the past couple of years. Tight connections and easy to loop.

Great clarity but flimsy feet

They sound good with solid midrange punch and great clarity. They look good, are of solid construction and feel robust. The only negative I could point at them is with the feet. They are a bit flimsy and fall off easily. If they will be cared for, then not a problem, they will probably last for years. I have them in a live music venue where punk, rock and ska bands love to kick and stand on them. If they last a month I will be impressed. They sound better than our old EV SX300s, are not as robust, but with the price difference, I am very happy. Very good value

Great for top end use, but would use a bin with them if you can.

Box PA302 Speaker Cab

Really good sound, we use two of these for two vocals and three drum mics playing rock music. They cope well with average pub gigs (up to around the100 audience mark) including a small outdoor function. The sound is crisp clean and responsive, and they are easy to pick up and handle in and out of gigs and motors. We have had a lot of compliments on the sound, best thing we have bought for a while.
