Great Value

Solid build. solid sound ,solid value. Perfect for bar gigs and band practice.

Lots of headroom for me so far. Haven't had to push the speakers ,but I'm not worried if I do , I feel the response will be fine.

Great sound, at a reasonable price.

Great all round speak. Not the lightest, needs two people to locate onto stands due to location of hole in the base of the speaker. I use them at outside and indoor venues with no problems. Great speaker at a reasonable price.

i'm impressed

from the first look i was afraid that it'd be cheap sounding, honestly i'm not a big fan of this kind of speaker design but i had to buy it because of the price.

i'm glad that i bought it! i used it as a permanent installation for a multipurpose theatre (i'm a contractor), it sounded really good for both music and speech, definitely recommend and would buy again.

box PA502

Now 3 years old and working fine. They are a pretty heavy, rugged and cumbersome but handle the rigors of being on the road well. They still sound the same as when I purchased them. Not a high-end speaker but ample for my requirements. Have been putting a 6 piece band through them no worries albeit we are mostly acoustic instruments so no huge kick or bottom end to deal with. Sound is pretty clear and good for the price. No distortion to date. Very solid and dependable.

Great product for the price

I bought 2 of these in a bundle with Behringer PMP4000. Very happy with their performance -especially for the price- , they have great power and are very good sounding both on low and high frequencies. They seem very sturdy so they should last well, ( but don't mind the little plastic "legs" that are supposed to stabilise them if used as a monitor - they are pretty clumsy and useless in my opinion)

The Box PA502

This passive speaker is the clear favourite in its price range. The frequency response is pleasantly balanced, it produces negligible operating noise, and its crisp output is more than ample for any pub gig or small to medium party event. For a practice room or home studio on a budget this would be a first choice. When coupled with a set of bass bins, these speakers will handle most larger function rooms with ease.

The PA502's robust plastic construction and speaker grid will handle all the knocks and bumps of life on the road, which makes it a slightly weighty option for its size (its only disadvantage in my opinion).

Sturdy little beast

I got a few of these to go with a berhringer pmp 400 powered amp and they sound pretty good. Cant really fault them at all. Dragged them around venues for a year or so and they withstand anything thats thrown at them.
