For the price - unbeatable

It's really cheap for this kind of speaker - cast frame and a large voice coil. I use it for self built cabinets (volume ~200 litres, bass reflex) and for the price it's unbeatable. It can handle power and is sounding quite good. I have not had a single problem with them. If you have the time to mess around building cabinets, then it's a really good choice.

I bought this speaker to instal in my own custom built sub bass cab. I was impressed with the overall build quality, It is a cast aluminium design for much better stability of sound when driven hard. and they sound great when installed in the cabs. nice one!

Decent Cheap Speaker

The boxx 18 500/8 A is a reasonable speaker, The sound quality is not brilliant

but for the money its ok. the speaker is easy to install and I would recommend for a cheap replacement only.
